Kyle Richards clapped back at internet trolls who said she “hid behind Teddi Mellencamp” during a recent confrontation with a dog walker.
TMZ posted a video earlier this month showcasing Kyle and Teddi in a heated exchange with a stranger who was walking her three dogs. It was later revealed that the Halloween actress confronted the woman for mistreating her dogs.
“I was like, ‘am I just going to be that person who doesn’t say anything,’” Kyle said on a recent Amazon Live.
However, the Beverly Hills housewife seemingly took more offense to the implication she hid behind Teddi — a woman currently battling brain cancer.
“The woman was threatening me, so I was filming, just in case she hit me,” Kyle rebutted.
“I’m not hiding behind Teddi. She was only threatening me.”
The cowboy hat lover expressed her frustration with the “negative” comments surrounding her attempt to protect and save animals.
“I just didn’t want to be that person that didn’t say anything.”
“My mom was not like that. My mom always taught me to speak up,” she concluded.
Good for Kyle for standing up for herself and those dogs! Especially in this climate of people filming “celebrities” in attempts to “cancel” them.
