Most people know Kristin Cavallari from her stint on The Hills. However, she has continued to build a name for herself since the show ended in 2010. Now, she’s opening up about the difficult time she’s having co-parenting with her ex, Jay Cutler. Plus, she’s revealing details about her sex life with country singer Morgan Wallen after the two were rumored to be an item.
As some fans may know, Kristin and Jay tied the knot in June 2013. However, they called it quits in 2020. She has said their marriage was on the rocks for a number of years and that it had become toxic. They have three kids together. They have both moved on since then, but it seems their co-parenting agreement isn’t working out well.
According to Too Fab, Kristin recently appeared on the Dumb Blond podcast. The former The Hills star revealed quite a bit, and some of the most emotional parts of the interview came when she discussed where she stands with Jay. Specifically, the two are struggling with co-parenting.
She said, “[It’s] really hard. It has not been easy, to say the least.” She then talked about the emotional toll knowing that her kids don’t have a traditional family unit takes on her.
Kristin explained, “Coming from divorced parents, the last thing I ever wanted was a divorce. I won’t lie to you. That still will creep up once in a while. … It just sucks that we’re not together as a family.”
Like many people who have gone through divorce, Kristin feels like her marriage was a part of an unhealthy cycle in her life. Specifically, she brought up her “narcissistic” dad and said there were intense similarities between him and Jay. According to her, “That’s what you do. I ended up marrying my dad.”
Still, she said, “I don’t regret a damn thing. There is so much good that came out of our relationship.”
The podcast host then asked about rumors Jay had cheated on Kristin with Kelly Henderson, who co-starred with her on a show called Very Cavallari. She said, “I really don’t think anything happened. F–k, I don’t know, to be honest with you. Do I know for sure? No.”
She went on, “Jay used to trash her, which I now sort of think if a guy is trashing a girl, there is probably something going on. When you’re dealing with a pathological liar, it’s hard to know what the f–king truth is.”
Kristin added, “People who are lying to you or are cheating, that’s because they’re hurt. That’s about them. That has nothing to do with me.”
She also stated that Jay has never apologized for how he treated her during their marriage.
According to PEOPLE, Kristin also addressed the rumors of a romance with Morgan while on the podcast. She started by calling the sometimes troubled country music star a “good guy” who has a “big heart.” She also said, “He’s been with every woman on the planet.”
Regarding their relationship, Kristin revealed she wanted a “f— buddy in Nashville.” She added, “He’s a great f— buddy … He was good in bed.”
She even said that he met her three kids on their first date and that Morgan was a “true gentleman.” The podcast host then asked Kristin about previously saying Morgan had hurt her feelings. Kristin responded, “He didn’t hurt my feelings … I’ll be honest with you. He was the first guy in my f—ing life that wasn’t just completely enamored with me … It really threw me.”
She then admitted, “I love having the upper hand, and I feel like with him, I didn’t have the upper hand.”
