The Valley‘s Kristen Doute is not looking to rebuild her friendship with Janet Caperna after she allegedly told a disturbing lie about her pregnancy. During an appearance on The Viall Files podcast, Kristen revealed what exactly happened between her and Janet that severed their relationship.
“She’s a confusing little bird,” began Kristen. “As of that one podcast she did claiming that I did not want her baby to come to full term, that’s it for me. That’s it. I absolutely will film with her, but I have no desire to bring someone like that back in my life.”
Janet, Kristen, And The Pregnancy Comment:
The hosts asked how Janet “got to the point of being convinced, so much so that she would publicly accuse you – someone who just had a miscarriage – would wish an unhealthy pregnancy upon anybody.” Kristen was explicitly asked, “Did you say it?”
“No. Absolutely not. Never in a million years [would I say that].” Kristen admitted she’s only “confronted” Janet about this issue “in the comment section. I kind of flew off the handle a little bit and said, ‘I literally just had a pregnancy loss. How dare you.'”
Friends To Enemies:
“So, I was good friends with Janet. We were friends, I thought everything was great. We start filming this show and I thought I saw a big change. But, now I’m like, ‘Is this who she really is? The person I thought I knew was not really her, but whoever the person was who I was filming with is not someone who I want in my life.”
“The season wrapped and she got to watch herself back, which can be very fucking humbling. Instead, [she] took this other road acting like everyone did her so wrong. Watch yourself back. You look like an ass,” concluded Kristen.
In Case You Missed It:
Janet made an appearance on the Gabbing With Gib podcast. She claimed Zack Wickham made vile comments about Janet’s pregnancy not coming to term. Janet was pissed at Kristen for not going on the record to denounce Zack’s statements.
“It absolutely is revolting that your BFF Zack said out loud that he was hoping I would miscarry and commit suicide. All of our friends and cast mates were aware of what he said and reached out expressing how disgusted they were by Zack’s death wish upon my unborn cild, except for you. Glad to hear [you] find his comments as revolting as everyone else does.”
