Kristen Doute called out Jax Taylor on Instagram on Thursday, accusing him of attempting to sell a rip-off of her merch.
Over a decade after launching her clothing brand, and after relaunching the brand with Valley-themed merch amid The Valley season one in 2024, Kristen, 41, posted a screenshot of a message she sent to Jax, 45, who has his own store on Shopify, demanding he immediately remove his own Valley-related merch.
“Jax, kindly remove your ‘valley’ merch immediately. It is an exact and clear rip off of James Mae,” she wrote in her May 1 message, along with three examples of the alleged rip-offs.
Then, in a second post, Kristen shared a screenshot of her own merch on the James Mae website, which featured what appeared to be an identical white T-shirt with “The Valley” written on the front of it and other Valley-themed products.
Jax recently promoted his merch on his official Instagram page and his business page for his bar, Jax’s Studio City, including an image of himself wearing a tan hoodie with “The Valley” on its front, which looked a lot like one sold by Kristen’s company.

However, upon visiting his Spotify store on May 2, the only Valley-related product seems to be a unisex T-shirt with the word “Valley.”
There are also a number of other products available in Jax’s store, including ones that read, “I’m the Talent,” and others that say, “In the Mind of Jax Taylor,” in reference to his In the Mind of a Man With Jax Taylor podcast.
The Valley season two airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
