Kim Zolciak Reveals the Real Reason for Kroy Biermann Split

Kim Zolciak's divorce from Kroy Biermann is "still in process" after first being initiated in 2023.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on July 31, where she admitted that she is in a brand-new relationship with a mystery man (more on that down below). But, she also dished on her divorce with Kroy, what's going on between them, and where they stand today.

When asked by Andy Cohen what happened between her and Kroy, the mom of six revealed that "the rug was pulled out from underneath me." She continued, admitting that they don't talk as often as she would like to.

"I would like to communicate more regarding the children, but it's just not there right now," she noted, as seen in the video above.

Kim and Kroy are currently living apart after selling their Georgia mansion for $2.75 million earlier this year. "I just moved into a brand new home that I love back in the end of February, I'm happy, it's great, it's perfect," she explained to Andy on WWHL.

Although Kim did not share the details on the identity of her new man, Kim confirmed that she is dating someone new amid her divorce. "He is just great," the "Don't Be Tardy" singer explained on WWHL.

"You know, I sat in that house and just worked and tried to take care of everything for 20 months, and I finally met someone great," she added, noting that they met through "a friend."

Ariana Biermann opens up about Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's divorce
Kim's daughter, Next Gen NYC's Ariana Biermann, recently shared some details on Kim and Kroy's divorce. Ariana appeared on Gia Giudice's podcast, Casual Chaos, in June, where she admitted that she would "pray" for her parents to get back together "literally every night."

"I think at this point, though, unfortunately, there is too much damage to be done," she explained.

She also revealed that at some point, she and her siblings are "all gonna have to go to court and give our testimonies and witness statements and everything. And it's just the most insane thing ever."

But she admitted that she has also learned some lessons from their split. "I feel like it's really made me stronger, and understand situations for sure a little bit better," she noted. "And understand how to handle myself even better, and maybe some things not to do moving forward in my life and to avoid at all costs."
