Kim Zolciak is opening up about her finances.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 47, was a guest on one of Kristin Cavallari’s live podcast shows for her Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour earlier this year, where she addressed public chatter about her personal life. One of the most talked-about topics has been Zolciak’s messy divorce from Kroy Biermann after 12 years of marriage, but she said not to believe everything you hear.
“First of all, I love when people tell me I spent all of Kroy's money,” Zolciak revealed during the appearance, which aired on the most recent episode of Cavallari's podcast, Let's Be Honest. “I've made way more than Kroy. Kroy's last NFL season was in 2015, just so we're clear. We're in 2025, and he just got a job in March of 2024.”
“I've worked my a-- off to provide for my family and my children. This man has not paid a bill in this house in years. Even with a job, he hasn't paid a bill in this house in years. Not clothes for my children, not extracurricular, nothing," she claimed.

Zolciak claimed she was the breadwinner in her family.
Pointing out that she has “filmed four shows in the last four years,” the reality star said she doesn’t understand why people feel bad for Biermann, 39.
“His goal when I said I was gonna divorce him, was, ‘I will publicly destroy you. You'll never work again,’” Zolciak alleged. “And he tried. It didn’t work.”
“This is the first time, by the way, I am speaking,” she noted. “Because I just moved into my brand new house 10 days ago, and I feel safe. I feel safe enough to speak, and I just wanted to protect my children through this, so I remained quiet.”
Later in the episode, Zolciak, who shares six kids with the former football player, expressed frustration that they were spending money on their divorce amid their other financial struggles. The couple had previously been facing foreclosure on their Georgia mansion before selling it, along with their furniture.

Zolciak made allegations that Biermann was "stealing" from her and her oldest daughter.
“He stole every piece of jewelry I've ever owned in my life prior to him, as well as Brielle's, and sold it all,” she alleged, referring to her 28-year-old daughter, Brielle Biermann. “Every piece I've ever owned in my life. Every piece. I had my engagement ring and my earrings because they were hidden in my bra.”
“But other than that, you know, he did that, he stole 20 of my most expensive handbags,” she alleged. She claimed that "amongst stealing all of this and emptying out our home, I've had to borrow money from girlfriends — my own daughters have helped. It's been crazy.”
The Tardy for the Party singer said being able to work “has been God’s greatest gift,” but admitted life has been “a lot” lately.

Ariana Biermann shared that she was loaning her mom money in the series premiere of Next Gen NYC.
Zolciak's daughter Ariana offered more details on the complicated financial situation during an interview with PEOPLE earlier this month.
“Money makes things awkward, and I hate what money can do to people,” the 23-year-old confessed. “I really have tried to not ever let it affect me and my mom's relationship — she's my best friend in the world. It was no one's goal for this to be the way that it was, and we haven't let it affect us.”
“I think people have a different idea of my money situation and think that I'm balling,” she went on to joke. “I'm like, no, definitely not the case.”
Looking ahead, Ariana said she wasn’t worried about helping Zolciak out because family has always come first for her.
“She's done a few shows, which is amazing, and so they take a second to get paid out for everything,” she said of Zolciak. “My mom always pays me back though, but it's definitely gotten better. She's working really hard.”
