Bachelor winner Kelsey Anderson went to social media to share the news that she was fleeing her home amid the devastating Los Angeles fires. She and her fiance Joey Graziadei officially became California residents just before the new year. She documented a little for fans to see but many also wondered where Joey is as he was not in her stories. Keep reading to find out more.
Kelsey Anderson Flees Los Angeles
Many reality stars are fleeing Los Angeles amid the devastating fires that continue to threaten many homes. Kelsey Anderson shared a photo on Instagram Stories showing the wildfire off in the distance. She captioned it saying, “Woke up this morning to what looks like the world is ending. I’ve never been near anything like this … terrifying to see up close. Thinking of everyone being affected by the fires and thankful for our first responders.”
Later, Kelsey gave another update for fans and noted that she was in evacuation mode. She decided to not risk it and left for San Diego. Kelsey later posted another Story saying that baby Jess was upgraded to mama Jess. She thanked Jess Girod for taking them in.
Jess was also on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise. The girls decided to make their evacuation into a fun sleepover. However, many were wondering where Joey Graziadei could be.
The DWTS champ also posted on his Instagram and revealed that he is in Tahoe. He showed a pretty snow-covered mountain. No doubt he will be rejoining Kelsey sometime soon.
Since announcing their sleepover, Kelsey has not given any further updates about their home in Los Angeles.
Other Reality Stars To Evacuate
Former Bachelorette Katie Thurston also evacuated her home in Los Angeles. She and her fiance packed up their things along with her cat Tommy’s ashes and took off for San Diego for a few days.
Everyone has voiced how terrifying it is to see it all up close. Katie appeared to be much closer to the flames than Kelsey and voiced that she was scared. She shared they were packed up and ready to go if needed. It wasn’t long after they left.

There have already been more than 10,000 homes destroyed in the fires.
