Pump Rules' Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz Find Buyer for $2.595 Million L.A. Home as He Says They're the "Best Divorcees" Amid "Painful" Split

Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz have found a buyer for their former marital home in Los Angeles’ Valley Village.

Just weeks after putting the home on the market for $2.75 million and later slashing about $150,000 off the price, the Vanderpump Rules exes have reportedly accepted an offer to unload the 3,500-square-foot property amid their ridiculously civil divorce.

On July 20, TMZ confirmed the yet-to-be-finalized sale of the four-bedroom, five-bathroom home, which Katie and Schwartz purchased back in May 2019 for $1.925 million. According to the report, the former couple accepted an offer for $2.595 million. This home sale stands to net them a potential profit of up to $670,000.

Amid the sale, Katie supported her estranged husband at the opening of his new bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s, which he shares with co-star Tom Sandoval. And at the event, Schwartz addressed their split, admitting that while it was both “stressful” and “painful” at the beginning, the two of them are the “best divorcees ever.”

“It’s nice to be busy when you’re going through something stressful,” Schwartz told Entertainment Tonight. “It was very painful, no one loves getting divorced. But I think we might be some of the best divorcees ever. We still have an incredible friendship.”

“It was rough in the beginning, I’m not gonna lie, but we still have a great bond, we still text, talk, we have joint custody of the dogs,” he continued. “It’s really good. There’s zero animosity, it’s not awkward, there’s no tension.”

“As long as she doesn’t talk to any other guys, of course!” he joked.

Although things between them were “rough” at first, Schwartz said he and Katie “had a lot of time to work through it”

“I feel like we’re in a great f-cking place,” Schwartz confirmed. “And I still love her, of course.”

Speaking of his new venue, which is located in the Franklin Village neighborhood of Hollywood, Schwartz said he likes that the location is “unassuming.”

“It’s in a strip mall, in the corner pocket, it’s very unassuming. Then you walk in and you’re transported to this other world,” he gushed. “I love that about it… It’s so exciting to see all of our hard work, all of the hard lessons we’ve learned, come to fruition in a place that we really feel is truly our own!”

Vanderpump Rules season 10 is currently in production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
