Katie Maloney Talks About Dating Peter Madrigal, Stassi Schroeder, and Ghosting Incident: Stassi Shares Thoughts

Katie Maloney của Vanderpump Rules nói về việc hẹn hò với Peter Madrigal và Peter đã bỏ rơi cô để đến với Stassi SchroederKatie Maloney looked back on her short-lived romance with Peter Madrigal during Wednesday’s episode of her shared podcast with Dayna Kathan, revealing that their relationship ended when Peter “ghosted” her for Stassi Schroeder.

After welcoming Stassi, 36, to the show, Katie, 37, was questioned by Dayna, 34, about how their friendship began. And, as she reflected on their early days at Lisa Vanderpump‘s SUR, where Peter, 40, has long served as the restaurant’s manager, Katie said she and Stassi first bonded over planning a birthday celebration for Peter.

“For whatever reason, [Stassi] was no longer seeing him. He basically ghosted me for her,” Katie shared on the October 2 episode of Disrespectfully, as Stassi confirmed they were in their early 20s at the time.

While Katie first suggested that she “barely” dated Peter, she then noted that they were together for “maybe a couple of months.”

“I really liked Peter. We went out a couple times and we like, made out and I was all about it and he kind of stopped talking to me and then finally, I found out it was because Stassi had started seeing him,” Katie revealed.

But despite the diss, Katie stayed friendly with Peter, and she and Stassi ultimately decided to plan his birthday.

“We went to Party City. We got cupcakes,” she said.

“Literally, [we] went out of our way to plan an Avatar-themed birthday party for Peter,” Stassi replied. “[And] this was before Amazon Prime, okay? We had to drive places to get party supplies.”

Although Katie found herself in an awkward position with Stassi at the start of their relationship, the event-planning bonded the two of them and they’ve been close friends ever since.

“That was the start of our friendship,” Katie admitted.

Vanderpump Rules season 12 is expected to go into production sometime this fall.
