Kathryn Dennis accused Salley Carson of trying to copy her look and “script” from season two of Southern Charm. In a cryptic post, Kathryn also suggested that Salley is “fake,” as Salley reacted.
Salley joined the show last season, revealing her past hookup with Shep Rose (who also once hooked up with Kathryn). Salley also addressed how her ex is now in a relationship with Taylor Ann Green. Some fans believe Salley is filling the ‘role’ Kathryn once played before her exit in 2023.
On Instagram, in a post shared by @Bravo_Boo, Kathryn seemingly threw shade at Salley, who recently filmed the latest season.
“I heard on the next season that someone buys the same car, dyes their hair the same color as me, of course, the OG. And then it’s because they tried to put the E before the Y,” said Kathryn, seemingly pointing out how Salley spells her name. “Oops, did I just accidentally bust your arc for season 11, which is, I think, 2.5, aka you’re trying to be my second season, which is super lame, but also kind of weird.”
She then cryptically said, “So second season in 2018, did I just accidentally read your script? Because if you have the first name of every cast member. Oh, algorithms. And she sells seashells by the seashore, LOL. Tortured poet, babe, tortured Edgar [Allan Poe]. Bro, this is not broccolini. This is the O of the storm, baby. Unfold. And say Bravo, the opera sang the name, the fake one. Gosh, I’m sorry, it’s you.”
Bravo Boo then shared an alleged DM from Salley, saying, “I didn’t die it red!!!”
In January 2023, Kathryn confirmed her exit from Southern Charm.
“What a wild ride it’s been!” she said at the time, via PEOPLE. “Can you believe I was 21 when I first started filming Southern Charm, back in its first season? That was in 2013, and in the decade that followed, it’s safe to say my life changed in ways I could never imagine. It hasn’t always been easy, but I’m so lucky to have had reality cameras there, capturing so many moments that I’ll never forget (and a few, even, that I’d like to).”
“Y’all watched me grow up, become a mom to two amazing children, and build friendships I’ll always treasure. And through it all, the love y’all have shown for me not only gave me the strength I needed to tackle it all, but helped me realize that I wasn’t alone. I’m so grateful,” she added. “I’ll be carrying that love with me as I enter this next chapter of my life, away from the Southern Charm lens.”
