Kate Lawler has hit back at body shamers trolling her over her weight, as she insisted she was 'happy with the size I am'.
The former Big Brother winner, 44, has been forced to defend herself numerous times against speculation from Instagram trolls that she suffers from an eating disorder.
After posting a series of bikini-clad snaps from her holidays last year, the star was cruelly accused of 'triggering anorexics' and being in a 'serious calorie deficit'.
But Kate has hit out at criticisms of her slender frame, as she pointed out that there will always be people sending abuse to others over their weight, calling them either too big or too small, so there was no way to win.
Speaking on the It Can't Just Be Me podcast with Anna Richardson, she said: People are like, "You can't be eating," but I am happy with the size I am. I do eat.

'People will either body shame you for being overweight and being underweight. You don't have to send abuse to troll them.'
In September last year, Kate was trolled over her weight, with some followers even comparing her physique to that of fellow Big Brother contestant Nikki Grahame, who died in 2021 aged 38, after a lifelong battle with anorexia.
At the time, she hit back and said she believed there is a 'double standard' on social media where plus-sized women are praised for showcasing their curves but slender ones are trolled.
Speaking to The Sun about the comparisons to Nikki, she said: 'I honestly couldn't believe it. To compare me to her is outrageous and so insensitive to Nikki's family.'
Kate went on: 'If someone is on Instagram showing their curves and grabbing their rolls, it's all, "You go girl, well done you!"
'They're celebrated, called real women. Well, why can't a real woman be a healthy size eight? It's crazy.'
At the time of the trolling, Kate stated she was a size eight and at 5ft 6in, she weighs 8st 4lb and has a BMI of 19.2.
Her BMI is therefore in the ideal range as the NHS explains a healthy BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9.

While the star does look slim, she assured that it is due to a fast metabolism and she does not exercise aside from walking her dogs.
The star revealed she rarely gives her weight much thought so was shocked after she saw the reaction her posts had received and couldn't believe people were accusing her of triggering anorexia.
She said: 'Someone asked, 'What message are you trying to send to young girls?' That really annoyed me.
'I wasn't sending a message, I just posted a selfie. And if I was sending a message to young girls, it would be to eat a balanced diet, treat yourself well and exercise.'
Kate's husband Martin Bojtos has also defended the star, responding to comments from trolls.
In one of his wife's post, he wrote: 'I love that people are concerned about my wife's weight when I cook for her,' followed by a laughing emoji.
'Guys, chill - it's the camera angle. Put the phone down and go outside for a bit.'
Kate confessed she doesn't wish to respond to the trolls and wishes to focus to those in her Instagram fanbase who are positive and caring.

Elsewhere on the podcast, Kate revealed she loved having casual sex before she got married and estimated she has slept with over 50 people.
The former reality star and her podcast company owner husband share daughter Noa, three, but before settling down, Kate told how she loved the single life and never felt any pressure to get married or have children.
She said: 'I've been in love a few times but I loved being single and just having casual sex with people, I probably did ghost a few guys at the time.
'I don't know how many people I've slept with but I know its over 50 but my twin sister has only slept with like seven.'
Discussing her marriage, Kate told how she was in a 'toxic relationship' with someone who wouldn't let her leave before she met him.
She said: 'I met my husband when he was nearly 30 and I was 33. It's been 11 years. When I met him I was in a dark place after coming out of a toxic relationship with someone else.
'That toxic relationship I had to write a letter to end it because he wouldn't let me leave.'
She also recalled another former partner who she discovered was married while they were seeing each other.

She said: 'I've had a colourful love life and one of the guys when I was around 20 he was living a double life, he told me he was living with his mum and he took me on holiday and he would go off to the phone booth to ring his mum but he was actually ringing his wife, he was actually married.
'When we came back from holiday I had accidentally put the wrong luggage tag on each case and his wife saw it and my address and then when I was in Big Brother, the wife was like, "thats her" and found out who I was and I had no idea.'
Kate recently spoke honestly about the tough times in her marriage to husband Martin, admitting that couples counselling has saved their relationship.
Just six months before they tied the knot Martin asked Kate to go to couples therapy as they struggled to communicate amid her battle with post-natal depression.
'Martin was the one to suggest it, around a year after I had Noa,' Kate told New Magazine. 'I wasn't in the best place and it was having a huge impact on our relationship.'
'Plus we were getting married six months later and Martin just wanted to start our marriage on the right foot, which was totally the right thing.'
Kate admitted though that she 'panicked' when her partner made the suggestion, confessing: 'I thought he wanted to break up with me. It was the toughest part of our relationship.'
'Having a child is the hardest thing you will ever do, but I also believe keeping your marriage alive after you have had a child is a huge challenge.'
The star called the therapy 'invaluable' and said the couple still have sessions every few months.
