Kate Chastain's son is really getting into the spirit for Halloween this year. The Below Deck alum is the mom to an adorable 1-year-old son, Sullivan Cay, who always seems like the happiest boy, all the time, as evidenced by the photos she shared of him, including her most recent snapshot.
Kate took to her Instagram Story over the weekend where she shared the sweetest photo of her little one, who seems just a little prepared for the upcoming Halloween holiday and very ready to start making some friends. In the photo, Kate's son can be seen standing across from a Sullivan-sized, spooky-looking doll, with a pale face and red eyes, wearing a black dress holding a doll of her own.
Sullivan, however, didn't seem too phased by the creepy doll, as he stood across from it, looking at his mom from behind the camera. "Sullivan making new friends," Kate captioned the post, set to Stevie Wonder's song, "Isn't She Lovely."
Although it might be hard for the doll to communicate back to Sullivan, this photo shows that he is so brave and pretty much unfazed by anything. If he can hang out with a creepy doll, then Sullivan's second Halloween should be a walk in the park for him.
Inside Kate Chastain and Sullivan Cay's first Halloween together
Sullivan was just five months old when he celebrated his first Halloween in 2023. Kate took to her Instagram Story at the time, where she posted a photo of the baby, dressed as a little parrot.
In the photo, the little boy can be seen wearing a blue and green bird costume with his head sticking out of the bird's beak, as his body was filled with feathers and wings were attached to his back. "100 percent showing these photos to his first date when he's a teenager," Kate wrote over the adorable photo at the time, via People.

Although Kate dressed Sullivan as a bird for Halloween last year, she actually got two new birds ahead of Halloween this year. Kate took to her Instagram Story in mid October, where she revealed that she adopted two finches, which she named Celine and Rene.
"At this point, what difference is [two] more things to keep alive going to make," Kate wrote in the caption of one Instagram Story.

"Welcome to the family Celine and Rene," she added over a second Instagram story.
In a late July interview with The Daily Dish, Kate revealed that she would be getting pet finches for Sullivan. "We are this week going to get some pet finches, which I think will be very exciting for him to see them chirping and hopping around," she noted.
