Kandi Burruss Offers a Classy & Kind Response to Keith Lee’s Review of ‘Old Lady Gang’ Restaurant [Video]

Kandi Burruss has responded after food vlogger Keith Lee shared his unsavory experience at her Atlanta eatery.

The popular TikTok creator and his family visited Georgia last weekend and attempted to try food from Burruss’ Old Lady Gang restaurant. In his video, Lee shared how an unidentified person who claimed to be affiliated with the Real House Wife of Atlanta star ushered him to give it a try.

“He said he’d been constantly emailing me and constantly DM’ing me to come to Old Lady Gang,” he said in his video. “I got it, let’s try it, and rate it one to 10.”

In a typical Keith Lee video, the following segment would feature the former MMA fighter tasting and describing the food. His Old Lady Gang review, however, took a different turn when he revealed why he left empty-handed.

According to Lee, he sent his family inside of the restaurant, another standard practice as his presence often results in unwelcomed accommodations. His family was informed they were unable to place a to-go order per Old Lady Gang rules and that the wait for a seated table was over an hour. Once Lee himself entered the restaurant, however, a table was prepped to be ready in five minutes.

“As always, I don’t want any special treatment. I wanna be treated like everybody else,” explained Lee. “I pay for my food like everybody else. I’m a normal person. I’m a normal customer. Things like this is exactly why I do reviews the way I do.”

After watching the viral TikTok, Burruss issued a professional response, taking note of the food vlogger’s critique. On her own platform, the 47-year-old shared more on Old Lady Gang’s guidelines.

“I’m about to speak on it. No, I’m joking. I’m not about to speak on it,” she began explaining. “I just really want to say, I do appreciate Keith Lee for stopping by our restaurant and trying to show us love. It is very unfortunate that we couldn’t serve him and his family.

She continued, “On the weekends, we get a lot of community support, people in our city that show up for us, as well as a lot of people from out of town. So, with that being said, we don’t want to overwhelm our kitchen by having to, you know, have such long times for the people who are actually at the restaurant, plus having to do to-go orders.”

Overall, Keith Lee’s Atlanta experience featured highs and lows in the city’s food scene. Old Lady Gang was unfortunately not the only place where the family left without food.
