A reunion between former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" castmates Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks is less likely to occur in this lifetime.
In a recent installment of her YouTube podcast series "Speak On It," featuring guest Jay, Kandi candidly addressed the online critics who advocated for a reconciliation between her and her former best friend.
Fan requests appeared fueled by Kandi's prior resolution of differences with her former co-star, Porsha Williams.
Long-time viewers of the Bravo series are likely familiar with the acrimonious falling out between Kandi and Phaedra during the show's ninth season.
The feud was triggered after it was revealed that Phaedra had instigated a rumor suggesting that Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker, harbored intentions of drugging Porsha and taking advantage of her sexually.
Kandi responded: “I don’t owe her sh-t, and I would say that to anybody. Not a motherf—king thing. I don’t owe her sh-t. She will never get sh-t from me.”
When Jay pointed out that fans would have appreciated witnessing an attempt at reconciliation between the two, Kandi sharply interjected, “They [the fans] ain’t never gonna get it.” She added, “The reason why I said it, it’s not about the fans. I love the fans.”
Kandi pointed to the severe allegations that Phaedra had leveled against noting that “During the time that the whole situation played out, we didn’t even know she was involved,” further highlighting that it was Porsha who ultimately confronted Phaedra over her role in the incident.
