K'Andre Miller Likely Going To Be Adam Fox's New Defensive Partner-quang

Adam Fox and K'Andre Miller have the potential to do some major damage playing alongside each other.

Adam Fox may have a new partner in crime.

With Ryan Lindgren likely out to start the regular season, Fox needs a new defensive partner until he returns.

Since Lindgren went down with an injury, Rangers coach Peter Laviolette has been experimenting playing Fox alongside K’Andre Miller and it’s been a success.

The two offensively minded defensemen compliment each other well and Laviolette seems comfortable with the idea of them taking over as the team’s top defensive unit.

“We’re going to give it a look,” Laviolette said. “It’s a lefty-righty combo. I feel like they’re both top defenseman for us. We’re looking to see. I think (Lindgren’s injury) opened up something, you’re not expecting that. Of course, there’s injuries, they always happen, right? But then when something happens, you have the stability, and then something happens and you don’t. And you got to find the right pieces and the right partners.”

Out of all of New York’s blueliners, Fox and Miller are arguably the two most dangerous and the prospect of a pairing featuring these premier defensemen is certainly intriguing.

While Fox has been seen practicing with other defenseman since Lindgren’s injury, it looks as if Miller will likely be his new dance partner and that should be extremely exciting for Rangers fans.
