Justin Jefferson Makes NFL History on 'Sunday Night Football'

Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings took on the Detroit Lions on "Sunday Night Football" to close out the regular season in Week 18.

During the primetime matchup, Jefferson made NFL history, showcasing his talent ahead of the playoffs.

Jefferson became the fifth player in NFL history with at least 100 receptions and 1,500 receiving yards, joining Marvin Harrison, Antonio Brown, Julio Jones and Andre Johnson, per the Minnesota Vikings' public relations social media account.

He also secured the third 1,500-yard season of his career, which is tied for the second most of that kind in NFL history.

While Jefferson's stats will be updated after the Week 18 matchup, he entered the final week of the regular season having posted 10 touchdowns and 1,479 yards with 100 receptions.

He ranked at No. 2 total receiving yards and No. 6 in total receptions at the wide receiver position.
