Dorit Kemsley is being forced to expose her finances in court.
As her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, continues to face a $1.2 million lawsuit, a judge has ordered the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star to submit her financial records in court on June 27.
According to documents obtained by The Blast on June 17, Dorit Kemsley must hand over her bank statements and information regarding her income. She also has to provide proof of the assets and property she shares with PK.
As the outlet revealed, a man named Nicos Kirzis loaned PK $1.2 million in 2011 and is now accusing the reality star of failing to pay off his debt. Although Dorit and PK did submit a $250,000 payment to Nicos, that only covered the interest of the loan. They reportedly still owe Nicos $1,235,573.66.
Amid his lawsuit, Nicos reportedly garnished $29,634.10 from PK’s City National Bank account after Dorit attempted to block him from doing so. She claimed the money was her separate money.
According to Nicos, Dorit offered no evidence proving the money was hers and not PK’s. Because the couple is married, California law wouldn’t support any division between their funds.
While Dorit and PK have been faced with numerous lawsuits over the past several years, PK recently scored a legal victory when a judge threw out a lawsuit claiming he owed $75,000 to a sports betting company.
PK also recently settled a $1.7 million lawsuit with the Bellagio casino in Las Vegas.
Ahead of Dorit’s June 27 court appearance, PK is expected to appear in front of a judge on June 19 to submit his own financial records.
