JT Thomas addressed the recent cast trip to the Bahamas, said “half the group” wouldn’t even “acknowledge me,” and revealed that his “chest [was] pounding” during the dinner fight. Meanwhile, JT reacted to Patricia Altschul refollowing him on Instagram.
On the current season of Southern Charm, Craig Conover accused JT of calling Patricia a “b**ch.” Soon after, the majority of the cast stopped talking to him except to ridicule him. Their animosity carried over to the cast trip. During one of the dinners, JT faced another pile-on even though Shep Rose confirmed that he never actually called Patricia a “b**ch.” Amid the tension, JT eventually chose to leave the trip early.
In a recent Instagram video, JT recalled the cast trip.
“The very first moment I meet the friend group outside by the buses, I mean like half the group won’t even acknowledge me,” said JT. “That’s a tough thing when you fly to a foreign country and half of your friends won’t say hi to you.”
“[Later,] we sit down at dinner,” he went on. “And I’m trying to keep it cool, calm, and collected, but inside, my chest is pounding.”
Around the same time, JT shared a screenshot showing that Patricia refollowed him on Instagram. In the image, JT drew a circle around the notification.
“This makes me so happy,” wrote JT over the post. “Thank you @pataltchul 👸”

Earlier in the season, Patricia seemingly wrote JT off as the cast automatically assumed that Craig’s story was accurate. But in one episode, Patricia’s son Whitney voiced his suspicions.
“I don’t think JT is the kind of person who would call a woman a b**ch, and throughout the years, Craig has had a tenuous relationship with reality and the truth,” said Whitney.
The episode then revealed a past scene in which Craig declared, “I can convince a lot of people of anything I want to convince them of. I’m a great liar.”
Back in January, Patricia addressed the controversy on Instagram. “When [the season] was filmed, I still believed that JT had called me the b-word,” said Patricia. “Now, after seeing the latest episodes, I don’t think he did.”
