CELEBRITY Big Brother fans are convinced JoJo Siwa’s partner Kath Ebbs ‘won’t be at the Celebrity Big Brother final’ to meet her after they mysteriously went quiet on social media.
Kath, 27, had publicly pledged to post to Instagram every day JoJo was in the Big Brother house, but that stream of support has suddenly dried up.
JoJo, 21, has been dating Kath, a nonbinary podcaster, actor and LGBTQ+ advocate, since January.
The couple made things official earlier this year and have frequently shared loved-up snaps online.
But, as JoJo's flirty friendship with fellow housemate Chris Hughes, 32, caught viewers’ attention, Kath’s social media presence began to noticeably fade.
The unlikely pair are regularly seen cuddling on the sofa, sharing a bed, and writing secret messages to each other.
Chris even told JoJo he would kiss her during a flirty bedroom exchange.
A Reddit thread discussing the situation has gone viral, with many fans convinced Kath will give the finale a miss entirely.
One user wrote: “So Jojo said quite early on that her partner is coming to get her from the final, does anyone think that kath will actually show up after all this carry on with Chris?"
Someone replied: "I wouldn't if I was her," with a third agreeing: "Neither would I."
Another said: "My guess is that they will come, but will ask to be kept out of the crowd/no interview/no camera time. I think they’ll want to speak to Jojo in person asap but without the public prying."
One more concluded: "I'm going to guess not, but who knows. ETA: I personally wouldn't come all the way from Aus to the UK, especially if I had been receiving the comments Kath has on socials, then all the speculation about Jojo and Chris' relationship. I wouldn't put myself through it tbh."
JoJo and Chris have become fast friends in the house, following on from the Love Island star stepping in to defend her from homophobic language used by Mickey Rourke.
Their growing bond has sparked speculation, with some suggesting their affectionate behaviour might hint at something more - and that Chris could be falling for her.
However, others on social media have pointed out that the pair simply seem like affectionate friends.
Kath themselves weighed in on the budding friendship last week, expressing how much they loved seeing JoJo and Chris grow close.
They also praised and thanked Chris for "backing" JoJo during the Mickey drama.
But as talk about JoJo and Chris intensifies, Kath has been noticeably quiet - with no new posts on their main Instagram or TikTok account for four days.
Despite Kath's current radio silence, JoJo and Kath had been open about their feelings for one another before she entered the CBB house.
Just hours before going in, JoJo said Paul C. Brunson's We Need to Talk podcast: “I have the most amazing, beautiful partner, they are an incredible human being who I don’t know how I snagged them at all.
“With Kath, I just trust them beyond trust.”
Kath has been a trailblazer for nonbinary representation, notably playing the first nonbinary character on the Aussie soap Neighbours.
The term nonbinary is defined as an adjective for “people who experience their gender identity… as falling outside the binary gender categories of man and woman,” according to LGBTQ+ media advocacy group GLAAD.
JoJo herself opened up about her gender identity in the house recently.
When asked, she revealed she might be nonbinary, saying: “It’s something that I’m not ready necessarily to be open about or upfront about but it has to do with gender and how do I feel.”
“Let’s put it this way. Oh my God, this is a lot. Essentially, you have female, you have male. I’ve met a lot of females and love them but don’t feel like I’m them. Met a lot of males, love them but definitely not them.
“I’ve met a lot of people in my life that are non-binary and these beautiful non-binary people are who I feel the most like. It’s not something that I want to say about myself yet but it’s something that is confusing. So, that’s probably why we were talking about it last night.”
Big Brother replied: “JoJo, thank you for being so honest and sharing with Big Brother."
