While boatmances run rampant in the Below Deck Mediterranean universe, oftentimes the best relationships to come out of a charter season are the friendships. In the case of Nathan Gallagher and Joe Bradley, their friendship even took on a romantic flair every once in a while — like the time Joe serenaded his buddy with a piano concert.
Iain Maclean spilled on the moment during an episode of the Below Deck Mediterranean After Show while discussing his late-in-season cabin relocation. As fans may recall, his move to a solo bunk led to him being next door to "the boys," AKA Joe and Nathan ... which meant he got a lot of intel on the pair.
"We'd just hear them talking sh-t all the time," he said. So what did he do? Captured some of their antics on his cell phone, of course. In one of Iain's (unaired!) behind-the-scenes clips, he walks down the guest stairs into Mustique's main salon to find Joe playing the piano.
"There's Joe, doing the piano. Quite a nice, romantic song. I go right up to him and see his fingers doing his thing and smiling and then he looks that way and I turn and there's Nathan sitting on the couch just looking at him with this big smile. Joe's serenading Nathan. It was quite cute," recalled Iain.
In another previously unseen video (which he was also nice enough to share with fans!), Iain walked into Joe and Nathan's cabin to find them "dangling with their feet in the air, holding on to the top bunk and [swinging]." See it for yourself in the above video.
Joe Bradley and Nathan Gallagher's friendship
In the same clip, Joe and Nathan also shared some insight into their cabin memories. At one point in the season, they apparently broke a mirror and even took a shower together.
"Listen, we knew that we lost a lot of water this season with the jacuzzi, so we were trying to save water. It was teamwork," joked Nathan. "I was washing his hair, his back. He was washing mine," reminisced Joe. "And then we turned around and started washing where we need to wash. We're just being bros. It was very comfortable. I'd never showered with anyone in my life, apart from girls."
