If you are a fan of Real Housewives of New Jersey, you are probably considering every possible option for Season 15. After Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga refused to acknowledge each other, Season 14 started to tank. Throw in Jackie Goldschneider cozying up to Teresa and ditching Margaret Josephs, along with a physical incident between Jennifer Aydin and Danielle Cabral, and you have – this. And this is not a good situation. Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga, shared their thoughts on the future of RHONJ.
Melissa and Joe Gorga share their feelings about the possibility of not returning to RHONJ
Andy Cohen previously admitted that Jersey needs some major changes, and he isn’t sure exactly what, or who, will change. But Melissa and Joe discussed the possibilities on her podcast, On Display with Melissa Gorga.
“Let me interview you right now. Everyone is saying that this could be the end of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, right? Or that they could reboot,” Melissa said. “Or that they could just keep four or five or three or a couple, or not keep everybody. What are your thoughts if we are no longer on the Real Housewives of New Jersey?” she asked her husband. “How will you feel about that because it’s definitely a long time and nostalgic for us and something that we’ve been doing forever.”
Joe gave a heartfelt response. “Well, you know, listen. We put a lot of time and effort. We dedicated over a decade of our lives into this show, and, it would be sad, right? Wouldn’t it be? It would be a little sad,” he stated. “It is what it is, and you know, whatever happens, happens. We’ll just have to move on and when one door closes, another one opens, and we’ll just figure it out, right?” Joe added.
Then Melissa confirmed that the cast had been told by the executives that no casting decisions had been made yet. “Either way, I think that … we’ve shown a lot of our lives and I’m happy to continue showing it, and I’m also happy with the memories that we made,” Melissa said. “So I feel like we’ll be at peace either way.”
Joe Gorga is proud of his, and Melissa’s, behavior
But Joe took a moment to pat himself, and his wife, on the back. “We’ve been amazing employees, especially you. We kept it clean, we kept it classy, we kept it right. And you know what? We’re sitting here right now, and our heads are high,” Joe said. “We’re clean, we’re nice, and we got nothing to worry about because we did everything right. And respected the network, we respected our fans, we respected everybody,” he added.
Was I watching a different show? I’m confused, but it sounds like Joe and Melissa are fine with whatever decision Bravo makes.
Real Housewives of New Jersey continues on Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
