Jesse Solomon Makes a Stunning Confession About Cheating to a Producer Amid Lexi Drama - suong

Jesse Solomon shocked the Summer House crew by arriving in the Hamptons newly reconciled with Lexi Wood — but that wasn't the only bombshell he dropped.

After opening up to Kyle Cooke and Carl Radke about feeling "depressed" when he "really thought it was over" with Lexi on Season 9, Episode 13, Jesse provided new insight on how a past cheating scandal shaped his emotional approach to dating today.

"It's very hard for me to find somebody I really like, and when I find that, it happens quickly and I'm all in. I immediately was head over heels for Lexi," he explained in a confessional, before revisiting a formative chapter in his romantic history.

"The only other girl I've ever, like, been in love with was when I was 18, 19," Jesse recalled. "And then my best friend slept with her, and then that's why I have trust issues."

The investor relations financier further shared an "interesting theory" that his roommate proposed: Maybe he was "normal" before, but now he has "commitment issues" because he experienced the betrayal of infidelity when he was "still young."

Jesse isn't quite so sure, though. "I was like, I don't think that’s true," he added. "But it's a good working theory."

Why Jesse Solomon and Lexi Wood got back together

Upon arriving out east, Lexi updated everyone that she decided to give Jesse another chance after "hours and hours and hours" of conversations back in New York City the previous week. "We definitely got down to the nitty-gritty of what is kind of, like, going on," she recounted.

Later, Lexi admitted to Lindsay Hubbard and Ciara Miller that she was unsure if she and Jesse were "gonna be together forever," but they had nonetheless decided to "let go of just all of the miscommunications" between them.

"Am I really going to fully break up with somebody because he's bad at communicating?" she asked, rhetorically. "We both really care about each other. I think that it could be worth, like, training [him]."

So, she and Jesse agreed that he would work on his communication skills, and they set boundaries on how he "acts single sometimes."

Jesse, for his part, confessed that his "communication with Lexi was poor," later revealing to Kyle, Paige DeSorbo, and West Wilson that she had put the ball in his court when it came to their decision to get back together.

"I didn't even know that was on the table, remotely," he said, before also detailing what West disapprovingly dubbed "relationship therapy" with Lexi's mom and sister.
