“There’s going to be a lot of different perspectives,” Jesse told Us Weekly exclusively, 46, at Hulu’s inaugural Get Real House on Tuesday, April 22, in Beverly Hills, noting that there’s “a lot of new” going into the show’s landmark 10th season.
The Bachelor franchise host Jesse Palmer is gearing up for a whole bunch of changes on Bachelor in Paradise.
ABC announced on Tuesday, April 22, that Bachelor in Paradise would be changing locations from Mexico to Costa Rica. Not only would former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants be hitting the beach, but Golden Bachelor and Golden Bachelorette stars as well.
“I think Costa Rica as a backdrop is exciting,” Jesse continued. “Not only do you have the beach, now you have the jungle. It’s sexy, it’s romantic, it’s mysterious, it’s dangerous.”
The show’s host is excited to see the Golden franchise stars on set as well.
“I think having their personalities blending with our cast on the beach is a really beautiful thing,” Palmer added. “I hope our cast will pick their brains and be sponges and just listen to their wisdom and their experience. It’s going to be an incredible party.”
Aside from Jesse — who is returning as the host — former Bachelorette contestant Wells Adams will reprise his role as the Paradise bartender. It was also announced on Tuesday that former Bachelorette Hannah Brown will be taking on a new role.
Jesse referred to Hannah, 30, as “iconic” within Bachelor Nation, and he’s so ready for her takes.
“She’s never afraid to tell it how it is, there’s never a boring day around Hannah Brown,” he continued. “Beyond Wells, who is already amazing, now you have another perspective, another personality.”
Any teasers for the season? Jesse admitted that he has no idea what’s going to happen.
“We don’t know what’s gonna happen, because we’ve never done this before, so part of the fun is living it day to day and just seeing what happens,” the former NFL star explained, noting that he just wants everyone to have “a good experience” — regardless of whether or not they find love.
“Everybody says they’re there to find love, but everybody’s timing might not be the same,” Jesse shared with Us. “There have been magical seasons in Paradise in the past where we saw couples align. Everything just fit together for them perfectly. … It’s able to happen. So I certainly hope we’re going to see more of that.”
