The Valley star, Jesse Lally, got slammed for his commentary on epidurals when Michelle Saniei prepared to give birth to their daughter, Isabella Bunny.
During an episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Jesse responded to claims Michelle made … and continued to dig his own grave.
Jesse’s delusion is real:
Podcast host, Amanda Hirsch, gave Jesse a chance to respond to Michelle’s claims against him. “She said you were very controlling in the delivery room. You didn’t want her to have an epidural, didn’t want her to have a C-section. You wanted her to do it naturally.”
Jesse admitted he “took control” of the situation and admitted he would have preferred the birth to be natural. “So I had brought up home birth, natural birth. And Michelle was like, ‘Absolutely not.’ Well, we had conversations about it.”
“I didn’t want the baby coming to a world full of drugs in a stressful environment, like all these things that you read about, you hear about, whether they were true or not, is what I believed in my head.”
He added, “The epidural thing, I just asked about it. ‘Does it go into the bloodstream?’ This and that… they’re like, ‘No, it’s in the lower back’ or whatever. Then, when she was stalled at seven-and-a-half [months pregnant], we started having the Pitocin conversation.”
“I took control. In that moment, I felt like that was my job to make the decisions,” he continued. “I was hoping that it would be naturalish, right? Yeah, she would go into labor. It would take four, five hours. She’d push and the baby would come out.”
The girlies showed up for Michelle:
The NSBNF podcast host insisted that she wouldn’t want someone else to make that decision. “It is their body going through the experience after all.” Amanda didn’t let the mouse go. “You f*cking try to push without an epidural, Jesse!”
Bravolebrities slid into the comments to chime in on Jesse taking “control” of Michelle’s birth plan.
Vanderpump Rules alums defended the spinoff star. Scheana Shay commented, “Coming from the guy NOT giving birth” while Katie Maloney left the word “Barf” in the thread.
Former Real Housewives of New York star Carole Radziwill (aka Writer Girl) penned, “I think the pain of childbirth would pale in comparison to the pain of actually being married to this dude.”
