The Valley's Hawaiian getaway had barely gotten underway before trouble started brewing between Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei's boyfriend, Aaron Nosler.
As seen on Season 2, Episode 11, the group was just about to enjoy a scenic dinner in paradise when the action abruptly fast-forwarded to two hours later with Jesse confronting Aaron about his suspicions that Michelle cheated with him during their marriage.
"Did you or did you not cross a line when I was married to Michelle?" Jesse asked his estranged wife's boyfriend, point-blank. "Emotional, physical, in any way, did you cross the line?"
Cut to a wide-eyed Aaron silently staring back at him just before the "To Be Continued" text flashed on the screen.

Though you'll have to wait until Episode 12 premieres on July 1 to hear Aaron's response, the tension had already been building between the two for quite some time.
When a producer asked Jesse how he felt about Aaron being on the cast trip, the father to now-5-year-old Isabella stated the obvious, admitting that he "had some issues" with Aaron.
"He starts dating my still-wife with a 4-year-old daughter. I would expect a man to call me up and say, 'Listen, I'm spending a lot of time with your daughter. Do you have any boundaries?'" Jesse explained in a confessional, adding, "It would never happen."

He elaborated that he also had beef with Aaron because he was "commenting on" him "spoiling Isabella," as well as Jesse's 7 p.m. FaceTime calls on the days when Michelle has custody of her.
In short, as Jesse put it, "Michelle admitted that she cheated on me, and I think that she cheated on me with Aaron. And now I have to be on vacation with him. … He deserved a f–king punch in the face."

Aaron, for his part, had already been on edge, telling Michelle post-arrival in Maui that he felt like he couldn't breathe "after seeing Jesse and just, like, being in the same room" as him, despite the fact that they "didn't even acknowledge each other."

Regardless, Aaron expressed hope that one day, they could all "do a family trip" with Isabella, since co-parenting the youngster binds them together.
"That's a long ways away, but we'll see," Michelle said, to which Aaron replied, "It's positive thinking."
Why Jesse Lally believes Michelle Saniei cheated with Aaron Nosler
All season, Jesse has been revealing "little crumbs" he's picked up as to why he thinks Michelle and Aaron's romance overlapped with their marriage.
Earlier in the season, Jesse alleged that Michelle had "most likely" been dating Aaron for two years, including prior to their split in October 2023. Jesse's suspicions partially stemmed from her stocking their cupboard with honey from Aaron's company while they were still together.
Around the same time, Michelle had also been getting "all done up" — and not wearing her wedding ring — before going on hikes near Aaron's home, which is also, perhaps-not-so-coincidentally, the same location where she'd been getting the honey, according to Jesse.
"Michelle and I had a conversation before this summer where she admitted to cheating on me, and I'm 90 percent sure that this person was Aaron," he claimed in a confessional. "And if it wasn't, then she cheated on me twice."
On The Valley After Show, Jesse further revealed that he and Michelle "had an intervention of sorts" with a mutual friend "right before filming started" on Season 2 — when she was already in a relationship with Aaron.
"Michelle's No. 1 thing was, 'You can't say I was cheating with Aaron 'cause it's not true.' And my friend looked at her and said, 'But you were cheating?'" he recalled on the After Show. "She got red in the face and she was like, 'Yeah.' And she told me a story about [how] her and her best friend went out and they met these two guys and they both started dating them."
