The Cleveland Browns head to Empower Field at Mile High for a Week 13 showdown against the Denver Broncos, with Jerry Jeudy's return taking center stage. Jeudy, who was traded to Cleveland during the offseason, will face his former team for the first time, adding an emotional subplot to an already significant matchup.
Jeudy’s move to Cleveland involved a fifth-round and a sixth-round pick, marking a new chapter for the former first-round selection.
During his four seasons in Denver, Jeudy recorded 211 receptions for 3,053 yards and 11 touchdowns. Since joining the Browns, he has stepped into the role of top target, collecting 45 receptions for 654 yards and two touchdowns across 11 games.
“Yeah, I think Jerry [Jeudy]. We know his skill set, he’s done a nice job,” said Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski. “He’s catching short throws, turning them into long gains. He’s catching balls down the field. He’s doing a nice job. He also has made a lot of plays in scramble drills since we’ve had him… He’s done a nice job.”
While Jeudy’s performance has helped stabilize Cleveland’s passing attack, the Browns face a Broncos team riding a two-game win streak. Denver’s offense, led by rookie quarterback Bo Nix, has shown promise, but Cleveland’s defense—anchored by Myles Garrett—intends to disrupt their rhythm.
Garrett’s dominant play, which included three sacks last week, will be critical against a Denver unit ranked 23rd in total offense.
The Browns, sitting at 4-8, aim to build momentum in the season's final stretch. Beyond Jeudy’s homecoming, this game offers Cleveland a chance to solidify its future trajectory, blending experienced veterans with emerging talent as the franchise eyes a stronger 2025 campaign.
