Real Housewives of Orange County star Jennifer Pedranti is under fire after posting a controversial video with Gretchen Rossi.
The now-deleted video featured the two women mimicking martial arts moves accompanied by stereotypically Asian sound effects.
Several viewers pointed out that Gretchen appeared to squint her eyes to match the audio, which further fueled the backlash.
Though the video was seemingly meant to throw playful shade at Tamra Judge, the internet didn’t find it funny.
Critics quickly took to social media to express their frustration, calling the clip “tone-deaf” and “offensive.”
Jennifer responded to the criticism in the comment section of her Instagram:
“It was offensive to two of my cast and possibly others. I was asked to take it down and I did immediately. Never an ill intent at all! Truly we were being goofy and having fun. The second I heard it could come off as offensive it was off my socials.”

One of the cast members who spoke out was RHOC newcomer Katie Ginella, who did not mince words about how the video made her feel.
“It’s very hurtful and very inappropriate,” Katie said in a statement. “It’s 2025, and I think we should read the room.”
While Jennifer insists the intent wasn’t malicious, fans and cast members alike are holding her accountable for the impact.
