Jenn Tran is reacting to rumors she is dating Jonathan Johnson.
The former Bachelorette, 26, caught up with PEOPLE at the season 33 premiere of Dancing with the Stars, opening up about her love life right now after Jonathan was seen supporting her from the audience. Responding to rumblings that the two were an item after Jonathan said he would say "yes" if Jenn asked him on a date on a Sept. 10 episode of The Viall Files, Jenn says she hasn't — and isn’t ready for a relationship right now.
“Honestly, Jonathan's been such an amazing friend of mine, and so great to have someone here in L.A. to support me and be such a rock for me,” she gushes. “And my heart's just, right now, not in the space to date anybody, let alone Jonathan.”
She then teases: “But I'm just so excited to see where our friendship goes.”

Jonathan, 28, sat front row, cheering Jenn on as she performed her first dance of the season, and alongside him were Bachelor Nation’s Susie Evans and Justin Glaze and Love Is Blind’s Chloe Veitch. Jenn says having a community from The Bachelorette has been helpful after the drama of calling off her engagement to Devin Strader.
“[It feels] so so good,” she admits. “I went into Bachelor, I wanted a fiancé out of it, and I didn't, but I got an amazing support system just all around the world, and also within Bachelor Nation. So I couldn't be more grateful, truly.”

She also found support in her DWTS family, with partner Sasha Farber adding: “I went into the show to have a great dance partner, and I came out with a best friend.”
As for how she felt this first dance went, Jenn uses a Taylor Swift song (something she did for each week of The Bachelorette) to match the energy of the episode.
“‘Fearless,’ because I'm diving headfirst into dancing,” she says.

Jenn joined the cast of DWTS just hours after revealing her ex-fiancé Devin had broken things off with her. At the time, she shared that Devin “regretted getting engaged” and later told PEOPLE that his lack of emotion at After the Final Rose struck a chord in her.
“In the moment, I was just thinking about the things that were important to me,” she says. “And what was important to me was the fact that he disrespected our entire relationship after the fact."
"Like I said, I can sit here and try to understand why someone would change their mind after saying all those crazy, crazy proclamations of love, but to also then sit here and disrespect the entire relationship by doing things that you know are going to hurt me, and by doing things that are just disrespectful to me, is next level of crazy," she continues.
A few days later, Jenn and Jonathan, who went home after Fantasy Suites, reunited and posted a TikTok together.
“All good, I’m not holding a grudge,” he wrote in a Sept. 7 Instagram post accompanied by a TikTok of the two joking about how Jenn “broke [Jonathan’s] heart.”
The two then showed up to PEOPLE’s 50th Birthday Party together, sharing a photo from the red carpet on Sept. 13 with the song “Already Best Friends” by Jack Harlow playing in the background.
“The song speaks for itself,” Jonathon wrote in the caption.
Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelorette can both be streamed on Hulu, with new episodes of Dancing with the Stars airing on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
