Jax Taylor took aim at Katie Maloney for her treatment of his wife, Brittany Cartwright, during a recent appearance, prompting a full-blown social media feud between them.
After the Vanderpump Rules star, 44, accused Katie, 36, of ignoring Brittany’s calls despite their past closeness, and accused her of having a “big head” due to the recent success of her business partner and castmate, Ariana Madix, 38, the pair went back and forth in a series of Instagram comments.
“She’s mean to my wife and I have a problem with that,” Jax began of Katie.
“She’s mean to my wife. She doesn’t return her calls. They haven’t talked in forever. She did our gender reveal. She was in our wedding. No,” he continued. “Katie’s got a little bit of a big head right now. She’s kind of riding on Ariana’s coattails if you know what I mean.”
After the clip was shared on Instagram, Katie got word of the diss and responded to Jax’s statements in a DM.
“lol Brittany hasn’t called me. I also saw her on [Scheana Shay]’s birthday and we were fine. I’m not mean to her,” Katie insisted in her message, via Queens of Bravo on Instagram, giving a nod to Scheana’s 38th birthday back in May.
Then, after seeing Katie’s comment, Jax fired at her for a second time, doubling down on his mean girl allegation and demanding she show him proof.
“Bull sh*t.. you are a meal girl to my wife.. she’s done nothing to you but be your friend,” he wrote in his first of two comments.
“That’s lie we need to see proof!!! I can say sh*t too show the proof that you called,” he added in a second.
As Pump Rules fans may know, Katie distanced herself from Jax and Brittany after the couple pulled out of Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark‘s wedding in Italy in May of last year at the very last minute, leaving the couple devastated and frustrated.
“I haven’t talked to [Jax and Brittany] since that all happened,” Katie confirmed on a February episode of WWHL. “I got a text message from Brittany the day we all left for the wedding saying she wasn’t going.”
Vanderpump Rules season 11 is expected to premiere on Bravo later this year or in early 2024.
