Rachel Leviss Slammed for Statement About Jax's Mental Health

Jax Taylor reacted to comments Rachel “Raquel” Leviss made about his mental health struggles on an episode of his podcast last week.

Over a month after Raquel, 30, was called out for what fans deemed as backhanded support, and what Tom Sandoval‘s girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson, 32, labeled as “gross,” The Valley cast member, 45, weighed in as he also admitted he’s a narcissist, detailed his new living arrangements, and revealed if he wants more kids.

“I heard about this while I was in treatment. I got an email from my manager about this. I’m just gonna make this very clear: I talked to Raquel maybe three to four times in my entire life, and each time I talked to her, it was ‘hi’ or ‘bye.’ It was no more than three to four words each time. I don’t know her from Adam,” Jax explained on the September 13 episode of When Reality Hits With Jax and Brittany.

According to Jax, he never actually looked up what Raquel said about him.

“I don’t really care. I’m not looking for any kind of validation from her,” he shared.

As Vanderpump Rules fans may have seen, Raquel said she supported Jax’s decision to seek treatment and hoped he’d be met with a better reaction than she got when she entered treatment following her affair with Tom, 42. Many felt this comment was her way of making the situation about herself.

“I, honestly, wish her the best and that’s basically all. I don’t know her. I don’t really know what she’s going through right now. I don’t research what she does, research her podcast, or listen to her podcast, or listen to anything she says, to be honest, and that’s not just a dig at her, it’s just I have other things to do in my life,” Jax continued.

Throughout the podcast episode, Jax answered questions from his audience members, one of whom asked if he believed he was a narcissist.

“I’m going to be honest with this. Yes, I do agree,” he responded. “I’ve literally learned, have just learned, probably five new terms that I’ve never heard before that I do, and I’m probably going to get in trouble for saying this, but I do all of them. I’ve done them all for years and I had no idea.”

“I am a narcissist, yes. I love bomb. Gaslighting. I’m missing some, but I do all these things,” he continued. “I had no idea there were terms for these things, and I was like, ‘Jesus,’ I look up the definition for all these new terms, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I do that. I do that too.’ I don’t even know how to talk anymore without being labeled as one of these things.”

Amid his divorce from Brittany Cartwright, 35, Jax told listeners he was having to humble himself.

“I do believe I’m a narcissist. I am not a doctor. So I can’t say that for sure. But by just looking up the definition, I have to agree,” he noted. “I do have pretty much everything that’s labeled under a narcissist, and I’ve been this person for years, and I had no idea.”

“I was never held accountable for my actions for many years until recently, you know, until people have had enough. People were tired of walking on eggshells around me. People just said, ‘Enough is enough. This is what you’re doing. This is how you’re hurting. I know you don’t see it because you never had any consequences, but this is the sh*t you’ve done and this is the damage that you’ve caused. And these are the things you are doing,'” he went on. “Again, I know it’s late in life to learn all these things about yourself, but I guess it’s better late than never.”

Jax then confirmed that he’s “finally moved out” of the $1.9 million mansion he once shared with Brittany.

“About two weeks ago, I got myself a townhouse. Everyone keeps saying, ‘Do I live with Tom Schwartz?’ I do not live with Tom Schwartz,” he clarified. “He has a townhouse that is next to mine, but they are completely separate, and we have our own building. We do not live together, but I did move out. I thought it was a good move for me to get my own place because it wasn’t fair for Brittany to keep getting these Airbnbs, and plus, I just didn’t want my son to be bouncing around to all these places. It just didn’t seem right.”

After describing his new home as “absolutely beautiful, brand new, very secure, [and] super safe for Cruz,” Jax admitted it’s nice having Schwartz, 41, close by.

“He is my best friend at the end of the day, and if I need help with something, if I need help with Cruz, he’s right there. I know everyone’s thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, they’re just gonna get crazy [and party].’ That’s not true. We are all older now. We all have different ideas in life, and I think we have a good support system here, and I really like it,” he shared.

Moving on to whether or not he wants more kids, Jax said he doesn’t think he will further expand his family.

“I don’t think so. I think I just want to spend all my time and all my energy on my son Cruz,” he explained. “I’m not sure what his future’s gonna be like, but I want to make sure I can give him my full attention, and I just don’t think it’s fair to bring another child into this world and not give them [an] equal amount of attention.”

“I think I’m done with kids. I’m 45 years old. I’m at that window right now that if you do it, you gotta do it now. I think we’re just gonna say no. I’m not gonna have any more kids. No, I don’t want any more kids,” he concluded.
