The Vanderpump Rules universe has been in the news quite a bit as of late. Naturally, this includes Jax Taylor as we get closer to the premiere of season two of The Valley. Now, he’s speaking out about why he doesn’t speak to Lisa Vanderpump and responding to Lala Kent claiming he doesn’t support Brittany Cartwright in raising their young son.

Regarding the Vanderpump Rules universe, everyone knows it was recently announced that the show would be getting a full reboot. However, the news didn’t stop there as James Kennedy was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence against Ally Lewber. Since then, many have bashed Lisa for her non-response to this very real situation. Additionally, Lisa has been called out for her comments about the paternity of Kristen Doute‘s child.

Recently, The Bravo Investigator posted clips of Jax taking questions from fans on his When Reality Hits With Jax and Brittany podcast. One of them asked when he last spoke to LVP.

He responded, “The last time I talked to Lisa Vanderpump was when we were shooting Vanderpump Rules. I think James was there. I think everybody saw that.”

Jax went on, “I don’t talk to her anymore. To be honest with you, I don’t really take kindly to her. The way she treated Kristen. The things she said about Kristen. Her lack of empathy and the way she handled the James and Ally situation. I personally think that was wrong, and Kristen is my dear friend, and the thing she said was just not okay.”

Earlier this month, Lisa spoke out about James’ arrest and suggested James “didn’t hurt” Ally despite James’ girlfriend alleging to cops that he “lifted her up and threw her to the ground.” Many fans were upset with Lisa over her comments and accused her of downplaying domestic violence.

The Bravo Investigator captured more of Jax’s comments where he spoke about Lala. He said, “Lala said on Heather McDonald’s podcast recently that I don’t help Brittany at all and basically do nothing. She does it all.”

Jax then responded, “I have to disagree. Lala has not ever been around in a very long time. The only time I’ve seen her around is at Brittany’s birthday party. I don’t know why she would say that because it’s 100% not true. Right now, I see Cruz every other day. So, three to four times a week, I’m with him. I take him to school. I don’t know what else I can do at the moment until the divorce is final, but I see him at least three days a week, and I help out as much as I can.”

He continued, “I don’t understand people speaking about other people’s kids. Lala doesn’t know what’s going on behind closed doors. She worded it like I basically do nothing. That’s what she said and that’s 100% not true. I help as much as I can and as Brittany allows me. That’s all I can do. I’m the father, she’s the mother. She calls the shots.”

There isn’t currently a release date for The Valley. However, Bravo has said it will air in 2025.
