Jax Taylor brands two of his Bravo interviews “the worst of his career” as he breaks silence on brutal Ring camera scandal, his shock firing from The Valley… and whether he’s finally done with reality TV for good - suong

Vanderpump Rules' co-stars Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright going through separation - ABC NewsJax Taylor is going through one of the darkest chapters of his reality TV career — and for the first time, he’s speaking out. In a rare and emotionally charged moment of reflection, the Valley star not only revealed he was abruptly cut from the upcoming season following his headline-making Ring camera scandal, but also labeled two of his interviews with Bravo as “the worst” of his career — a revelation that left fans stunned as cracks in his long-standing relationship with the network became more visible than ever.

The now-infamous Ring camera footage has become a shadow looming over Taylor’s public image. On the Give Them Lala podcast, Lala Kent confirmed for the first time that she had watched a video clip from a Ring camera, reportedly showing a tense — if not outright alarming — interaction between Jax and his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright. Without going into explicit detail, Lala shared that the footage was so disturbing, she told Brittany directly: “If you don’t get out of this, someone’s going to die — and it might be you.”

The statement hit like a bomb across the Vanderpump Rules fandom. After months of speculation about their crumbling marriage, Brittany officially filed for divorce shortly after season one of The Valley ended, citing “anger issues” and emotional instability. Though the couple continues to argue over co-parenting their son Cruz, it appears the Ring video was a turning point Brittany could no longer ignore.

According to Brittany, the relationship had already broken down long before season two began filming — but things escalated just days before cameras rolled. “He lost it over a photo that I was allegedly sending to his friend Julian Sensley,” Brittany recalled, emphasizing that the image was part of a larger pattern of behavior she could no longer tolerate.

Lala Kent recounted the night she saw the Ring footage: “You weren’t even officially broken up — just kind of flirting with the idea. But when you showed me that clip, I knew things had crossed a line.”

While Brittany was dealing with public heartbreak, custody battles, and emotional fallout, Jax responded in a very different way: by going public with his frustrations toward Bravo, calling out the “two worst interviews” of his reality TV career. Though he didn’t name names, he claimed he felt “set up” and forced into playing a version of himself that no longer reflected who he was. “I didn’t control my own image anymore. I was just a character — the familiar villain — for over a decade,” he said.

He also hinted at mounting tensions behind the scenes, saying that “too much of what happened off-camera was edited out — just to make me look like the bad guy over and over again.”

When asked if he would return to reality TV, Jax left the door slightly open — but also hinted that he might be exploring a new direction altogether, potentially involving a private business venture or a complete withdrawal from the public eye.

With controversy still swirling and his TV career hanging in the balance, Jax Taylor stands at the biggest crossroads of his life — and this time, there’s no script, no editing room, and no one else to blame.
