Brittany and their son Cruz are back in the house after spending months living in an Airbnb minutes away during a trial separation.

Jax previously stayed in their home as he said he couldn't afford to pay the mortgage and the rent on an apartment.

Property documents seen by The U.S. Sun show the couple took out a huge mortgage in 2022.

They first purchased the property in 2019 under a trust for $1,910,000 and took out a mortgage for $1,432,500 with 5th Street Capital, Inc.

Filings show it had a maturity date of June 1, 2049.

A Notice of Federal Tax Lien obtained by The U.S. Sun was filed in July 2022 for the amount of $1,058,345.58 which Jax hadn't paid.

It included $23,008.45 for 2014, $118,169.57 for 2016, $72,110.16 for 2017, $198,190.36 for 2018 and $646,867.04 for 2019.

We revealed Jax was then hit with further IRS bills but eventually paid off all of his outstanding tax debt.

BRITTANY THE BREADWINNER

Now, The U.S. Sun can reveal they took out a second mortgage on the home for $2,240,000 with 5th Street Capital, Inc., likely to cover the tax bills, with a maturity date of 2062.

New documents for 2024 show they still have the mortgage and it was recently transferred to a new lender, Wilmington Savings Fund Society.

The U.S. Sun understands Brittany began paying for the mortgage in recent months.

A rep for the couple declined to comment.

One expert told The U.S. Sun anonymously, "The mortgage would be about $6,500 a month that's not including interest and assuming it's a traditional 30-year term.

"It would more likely be about $10,000 a month with fees and interest, and then taxes."

Jax previously had Brittany move out of the house explaining he couldn't afford to relocate.

During an episode of his and Brittany's podcast, When Reality Hits, he said, "I know I said we would never, ever leave each other, but it got to the point where she had to go."

And by "go," Jax explained he meant she had to leave their family home.

He went on, "Everyone's like, 'Well, how come you didn't leave?' I'm like, well, yeah, I pay the mortgage on my home now.

"I couldn't pay the mortgage and, I don't know, [for] two places. I can't afford that. I can't afford a mortgage and an apartment."

He has since moved out after also admitting Brittany has been earning more money than him.

The U.S. Sun first broke Jax's tax troubles in 2021.

Jax and Brittany left Vanderpump Rules in December 2020 and The U.S. Sun first broke the tax story in 2021.

BRAVO FIRING

Jax was the highest-paid earner on the Bravo show with an alleged salary of $25,000 per episode and potentially lost out on more than $600,000 per year.

He was fired from the show after being accused of "racist and transphobic" comments.

Before he was let go, the couple purchased their five-bedroom, four-bathroom home in 2019 for $1.9million.

They also welcomed their first child, son Cruz, in April 2021.

Jax and Brittany joined the Bravo spin-off The Valley last year, and also briefly returned to Vanderpump Rules.

But filming for The Valley has reportedly been tricky as they are now getting divorced.

Brittany makes a lot from sponsorship deals through social media and appearances and previously admitted they argued over finances.

In April, Brittany confided in Scheana Shay on Vanderpump, "I was making more money for once, I could tell that was a shift for him.

"We were fighting a lot because of that alone."

However, she has had financial issues of her own as she was hit with a tax lien for $35,000 earlier this year, according to the Daily Mail.

It is not known whether she has paid the bill.

The former couple also run Jax's Bar in Studio City and Brittany is looking to open a venue in West Hollywood, Britt's, with her ex's business partners.

The U.S. Sun also revealed she is the sole owner of their Mamaw's Beer Cheese trademark, which they one day hope to sell.

Jax recently revealed on an episode of Bravo's Hot Mic podcast, "My partners came up to me probably four weeks ago and said, 'Hey Jax, what do you think of us opening up a bar called Britt's?

"This was all during the thick of it, and they go, 'Listen, we understand what's going on with you, with the divorce, if you say no, we won't do it, why don't you sleep on it and let me know.'

"From a financial standpoint I thought why not, you know. But there's gonna be some strings, I'm going to be an investor, I'm going to be the quote on quote 'silent partner'.

"I'm going to let her design it, she can have her say, but I will be having a stake in it. It's under my title, Jax Taylor Inc."

Producer Alex Baskin then quipped, "What could possibly go wrong?"

Jax insisted Brittany was really happy with the news and it was revealed during a week when they were getting on.

He then bragged, "I made this happen for you. Cut me a little slack here ... and then it goes back to me being an awful, selfish person."

But Jax admitted his involvement in the project "probably hasn't sunk in yet" for his ex, adding, "Trust me, I'm going to make her very aware. You know that."
