Janet Caperna Unveils Her Past as Cameron Diaz's Assistant - lulu

Janet Caperna is once again proving how small Los Angeles really is.

The Valley star recently revealed that she and fellow cast member Zack Wickham go way back — all the way to their days working as celebrity assistants. 

Zack used to work for Nicole Scherzinger, while Janet worked for none other than Avaline Wine… aka Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power’s organic vino brand

Janet says she’s still obsessed with the wine and looks back fondly on her time in that role. She even shared how tight-knit the celeb assistant circle can be:

“The assistants are kind of a group in L.A.”

Which brings me to a show idea I’ve been shouting from the rooftops for years…

Give us a reality show about the assistants, stylists, nannies, and glam teams behind the stars!

We know discretion is part of the job. But there’s got to be some low-stakes drama and behind-the-scenes tea that wouldn’t break NDAs and would still make for premium reality TV.

Just imagine the chaos. The glam. The late-night SOS calls. The personal errands gone rogue. It’s not a want, but a need.
