No charges will be filed against James Kennedy after his December domestic violence arrest.
The former Vanderpump Rules star’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, reported the Burbank City Attorney’s decision via TMZ.
The investigation cleared James’ name:
James’ team shared their gratitude for the court. “I want to thank them for conducting a thorough and professional review of the matter involving my client, James Kennedy.”
“Their diligent investigation confirmed what we have maintained from the beginning … there were no grounds for any charges to be filed against Mr. Kennedy.”
James “is happy to put the matter behind him.” He “is looking forward to continuing to focus on his sobriety and his DJ career.”

Burbank’s Police Log revealed James was arrested on 12/10/20224 at 23:50. The DJ/reality TV star was booked on 12/11/2024 at 00:37.
Police “contacted male and female inside a residence.” The “female stated her boyfriend lifted her up and threw her to the ground. Male arrested.”
James was charged with domestic battery upon spouse/co-habitant and released on $20k bail.
