James Argent takes huge new step in relationship with Spanish supermarket girlfriend - suong

TOWIE’ s Dan Edgar, who is a contestant on this year's Dancing On Ice, has opened up exclusively to OK! about his 'rollercoaster journey on the show. And the reality star, who has also lifted the lid on what’s really going on between him and fellow castmate Ella Wise, 24, revealed exclusively to OK! about a huge life update when it comes to his best pal James Argent who is in a relationship with Swedish beauty Nicoline Artursson.

Speaking about Arg's romance with formee Miss Sweden Nicoline, the 34-year-old, explaining why Arg hasn't yet seen Dan perform on the ice, revealed Arg is moving to Spain. ""He’s in Spain a lot right now – as he’s moving out there, he’s back and forth sorting stuff out. He’s promised he will come, so we’ll see if he makes it down one Sunday!"

Delighted for his good friend, Dan admits that finding his person has been a long time coming for Arg. "She’s lovely. I’m very happy for him. It’s something he’s wanted for a long time. We’re both at the age where you feel the pressure of everyone around you settling down. She’s actually very similar to him – they’re so alike it’s mad!"

Arg, 36, met the stunning former Miss Sweden by chance in Marbella, last July and went public the following September, explaining to OK! last Christmas: “I was walking to my gig at Elliott Wright’s restaurant in Marbella. All of a sudden I see this woman coming towards me. I was like, ‘Wow, she’s beautiful.’ She was just in her gym clothes, wearing no make-up. She’d actually just fed a stray cat."

 

As for Dan's lovelife, he is giving it another shot with fellow Towie cast member Ella Rae-Wise (

The connection was instant, and now the couple - who recently went on a sun-soaked holiday to Barbados together - are inseparable. It's quite the turnaround for the former TOWIE star, who over the past six years had hit rock bottom through drink and drug abuse, which almost left him dead. Leaving behind the reality show that made him a household name — he went into rehab, then had a gastric band operation, which saw him shed an incredible 14 stone.

As for meeting Nicoline, 31, Arg gushed: “To have her beside me is like a dream. She’s absolutely beautiful. She’s a combination of Julia Roberts and Claudia Schiffer. What I love about Nicoline is, even though she’s very humble, she’s very classy.” And marriage and. babies could even be on the cards. Arg admitted to OK! last December: “We’d both love to have a family one day, absolutely. We’re both at the right stage in our lives. We’ve both lived a life, we’ve both had experiences with previous partners, but now it’s a really good time."
