Jalen Hurts is disrespected and his mother furiously defends the Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl champion - suong

It's astonishing that some still question Jalen Hurts' ability to excel as an NFL quarterback at the highest level. Yet, no one defends the Philadelphia Eagles' star more fiercely than his mother, Pamela Hurts, who recently clapped back at critics targeting the reigning Super Bowl MVP, who dethroned Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

The latest to critique the Eagles' quarterback was former NFL player Chase Daniel, who made controversial remarks on The Athletic Football Show.

"I don't want to start a franchise with Jalen Hurts. He might be 8, 9, 10 on that list. Maybe more," Daniel said.

The comment didn't go unnoticed by fans-or by Pamela Hurts, who responded with biting sarcasm on TikTok: "And it's pitiful... was he ever a starter anywhere?" A fan replied, confirming Daniel was not a starter. Pamela added, "Figures... It's mainly the ones who never played or played at a high level with most to say."

Chase Daniel, who played 14 NFL seasons and appeared in 74 games but started only five, drew criticism for his remarks, which many deemed out of touch given his limited starting experience.

Jalen Hurts continues to silence his detractors, even after leading the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory. In a stellar season, he guided the team to a 12-3 record in 15 starts, completing 248 of 361 passes for 2,903 yards, 18 touchdowns, and just five interceptions.
