In this episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, the ladies are dealing with the fallout of the double events, one being hosted by Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby and the other being a seemingly last-minute celebration honoring Karen. Of course, most of the cast went to Karen’s even first, meaning they were late for the GNA event.
This episode of RHOP picks up where the previous one left off, with Stacey Rusch confronting Ashley about her saying they could come to the event at eight before Gizelle kicked them out. Notably, Gizelle even involved security. It then cuts to Jassi Rideaux, Stacey, and Mia Thirnton exiting the event and returning to their Sprinter van. Mia can be heard saying, “It’s tasteless, and I don’t do tasteless. It’s also classless, and I don’t do classless.” Unfortunately, Ashley thought it was a good idea to go after them in order to seek out donations. This ended with Jassi closing the door on Ashley’s arm.
The following day, Stacey decided to have Jassi , Ashley, and Karen over to her home as she had the place to herself. Naturally, she had a beautiful array of snacks and drinks for her new friends. We’re told this is 18 hours after the GNA event. Jassi is the first to show up and is clearly still upset about being kicked out. Stacey jokes, “Why on earth is Gizelle walking around with security? Are we supposed to have security with these girls? I have to get some referrals.”
Once Ashley shows up, she and Jassi discuss the event. They specifically discuss Jassi closing the door on her. Ashley says she’s a little sore, but Jassi says she reenacted the door situation and knows it doesn’t close hard enough to cause pain. Once Karen shows up, she gets into it with Ashley over the event conflicting with the GNA fundraiser. However, Karen brings up the birthday party and calls out Ashley over the Uber gift card gift because she knew it was a shady gesture. This scene ends with Karen making fun of Ashley’s feet and saying she should have returned the gift cards so she could get her bunions fixed.
Then, we see Wendy and her mother in the kitchen. Wendy says she has an announcement, and most fans probably assumed she would discuss resigning from teaching. However, she says she’s going on a trip to North Carolina for her 40th birthday. She also talks to her mother about inviting Eddy’s family to her birthday party.
One of the following notable scenes comes as Gizelle’s girls are getting ready for the prom. Of course, they have a glam squad, and the hairdresser is one of Gizelle’s best friends. Later in the scene, in walks Jamal Bryant, who is also friends with the hairdresser. Of course, in real-time, Gizelle is actually an empty nester. They also confirm that Jamal has a new girlfriend. It was also in this scene that Gizelle realized that her issues with the double events were with Karen and not the other ladies, so she decided she would apologize.
Later in this episode of RHOP, Mia and INC threw a get-together for Jacqueline and Patrick. Of course, they had drinks and food. They also discuss why Jacqueline calls him PP, which stands for parental partner. However, she says it’s also because of the size of his manhood. Things get juicy in a confesisonal when she admits Inc tried to date her. However, she says they never actually dated because she didn’t want issues with Mia.
According to Jacqueline, “Inc and Mia were pretty wild together, living this kind of rebel lifestyle.” Of course, Mia has also made no secret of this in the past. Now, I thought this was kind of weird, but after they split up because Mia wasn’t available, he was asking me out for, like, dinner.”
Then, fans of RHOP are treated to a scene where Stacey and her friend TJ are working out at the gym. Of course, this comes after Stacey admitted that they had not been intimate because of his Christian beliefs. However, in this episode, she says TJ has been with other people but that he doesn’t want to have sex with a woman until marriage. They also joke in this scene about him not wanting to sleep with her, and he even says he has zero interest.
After this, it’s time for the trip to Charlotte, North Carolina. However, Gizelle first meets up with Stacey, Ashley, Jassi, and Wendy. She takes it upon herself to say she’s sorry to the ladies for kicking them out, as her issue is with Karen. Of course, Wendy is the most surprised by Gizelle being adult enough to admit she was wrong. Of course, Gizelle also asks Stacey about her divorce, and Ashley blurts out that she’s seeing someone. Stacey didn’t hide how upset she was and how she felt betrayed by Ashley after they had spent so much time together.
From here, we see the RHOP ladies on the van headed for North Carolina. While on the van, Wendy remarks on how much she’s actually enjoying Gizelle so far on the trip. After this, Mia can be seen asking Karen about her DUI, to which Karen replies that she should just read about it online. Before the episode ends, it teases a fight from next week’s episode, where Karen can be heard defending her history of driving under the influence.
Of course, there were also several small transitional scenes spread out throughout the episode of the ladies with their kids. Notably with Wendy and Keiarna Stewart.
Fans can watch RHOP on Sunday nights.
