‘It gets so intense in there…’ — Love Island 2025 stars reveal the surprising truth about life inside the villa as Ben and Andrada break silence on the worst part of the show that “nobody warns you about” - suong

Obviously, taking part in a show like Love Island is a once in a lifetime experience (okay, well two if you're an All Star and three if you're Casey O'Gorman) but still, it's not all sunshine and daisies.

From sharing a house with messy people as well as someone you might not see eye to eye with, to being filmed 24/7, it's far from the free holiday it cracked up to be.

During an exclusive chat with Closer online, Love Island 2025 OG Ben Holbrough, who was joined by his bae Andrada Pop, opened up about the 'worst' part of the dating show.

'The worst thing is probably when you are feeling down in there,' Ben confessed, 'because it can get so intense in there.'

'It can get a lot,' he added.

Ben isn't the first to comment on how 'intense' it can be to take part in the romance reality TV show. The likes of Amy Hart and Claudia Fogarty have both commented on the stress and anxiety of Love Island; both during and after their stint.

'But the support that Love Island give you,' he continued, 'with psychiatrists and if you ever need to speak to anyone, if you ever need to go and take five, they'll be "just go do it," they definitely have your best interests at heart.'

At the moment there is some controversy around the girl's divide in the villa, so we hope that the producers are taking it upon themselves to ensure everyone involved is being treated fairly and being given the support they need.

As for Andrada, her response confirmed just how relatable the Irish Islander is because this is one of our biggest fears...

'The worst part is when you're having an argument with someone you don't want to see them the next day, you don't want to talk to them the next day, not even see them,' she admitted.

Honestly, we can't think of anything more frustrating than having a blazing row with someone who has really wound you up and then having to sit down and eat a meal next to them.

'Getting ready with them, eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with them, thats very hard to deal with,' she declared.
