I’M a Celebrity winner Danny Jones held crunch talks with his wife after he appeared to kiss his jungle co-star Maura Higgins.
Insiders said Danny and wife Georgia Horsley, both 38, had spoken about his night out after the Brit Awards and were keen to “move on with their lives”.
A source said: “This saga has been embarrassing and Danny had a lot of explaining to do.”
The Sun told on Monday how McFly guitarist Danny and Love Island star Maura, 34, appeared to have a “brief drunken kiss” at Universal Music’s Brits after-party.
Danny and Georgia have been away from their London home since the story broke.
A pal added: “Danny and Georgia have been together for a long time and have spoken about that night.
"They are keen to just move past it and get on with their lives.
“They’ve been away for a few days and they are focused on being a family unit.
“Danny and Georgia are both committed to each other and are moving on with their lives.”
Georgia, the winner of Miss England 2007, was due to appear at a public Q&A at The Baby Show at London’s Excel Centre this Saturday.
She was booked to talk about motherhood alongside her Mum’s the Word podcast co-host Kelsey Parker but last night insiders said she had cancelled.
Georgia started dating Danny in 2009.
He proposed in 2013 and they married the following year in a ceremony that featured a performance by his pal Ellie Goulding.
Danny won I’m A Celebrity last year after competing in the show with Maura, who finished sixth.
