If The Golden Bachelorette star, Pascal Ibgui accepted The Golden Bachelor lead, he would want younger women courting him. There is usually a golden age range for these shows but what is his idea of “younger”? Keep reading for more details on what Pascal had to say.

Pascal Ibgui Wants Younger Women For Golden Bachelor

When Pascal Ibgui first entered The Golden Bachelorette mansion, fans were unsure what to think of him. He was somewhat of a diva and could not do his own chores. Yet, he did recruit a fellow housemate to help him out so he was smart. The beauty salon owner made it to the final three with Joan Vassos and she loved his adventurous nature. In many ways, he reminded her of her late husband, John. Unfortunately, he realized that this was not the right situation for him. Pascal had been engaged not too long before joining the show.

Therefore, he needed to trust his gut and his heart. As much as he liked Joan, he was not in love with her and was not going to pretend he was. He ended up self-eliminating which broke Joan’s heart. Luckily, she got engaged to Chock Chapple at the end so her finale was very happy. Fans have since felt Pascal should be the next Golden Bachelor, amongst other candidates. However, if he were to fill those shoes, would he want an age change so he could date younger women? Pascal opened up on the Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast about this.

It seems Pascal Ibgui is currently single but it is a very interesting situation. He claims the person that he wants does not feel the same. So, if he were to go on The Golden Bachelor, he would prefer women of a certain age, per Us Weekly:

“Yes, I’m old, but I don’t go out with a 72-year-old woman.”

Pascal, who is 69, did want to clarify what he meant by that. It is more so he would not go out with someone under 50 or 55:

“I think I made a comment. Sometimes the language barrier … and when I look back … I said, ‘I don’t go out with a 72-year-old woman.’ That’s not what I’m trying to say. I said, ‘I want to go out with an age-appropriate [woman].’ I don’t go out with anyone under 50, 55.”

Raking In The DMs

Pascal Ibgui admitted that he gets messages from women of all different ages. However, he is in the market for someone between 55 and 65 and wanted to be clear that he is not into someone super young, despite the initial context:

“You could have a 65-year-old woman who know[s] how to take care of herself, who’s into health and fitness, who know[s] how to dress. … I have no problem with the age, but it has to be age-appropriate. So, again, [setting] the record straight. I do not go out with young women.”

It also appears that Pascal wants someone who cares about herself physically and aesthetically. After hearing his interview, fans flocked to his social media to share how much they missed him:

  • Loved you in The Golden Bachelorette. I bet Joan wishes you had stayed on the show. I sure do.❤️
  • Keep shining..and stay blessed 😍🔥🔥

It has not been announced who will follow Gerry Turner as the next Golden Bachelor. Jonathan Rone, who was also on Joan’s season, is now newly single so he is a hot contender. Fans also liked Guy Gansert so time will tell if any of these men are chosen.
