‘If it was week 3, I’d have been in trouble…’ — Love Island fans claim they’ve ‘worked out’ the real reason Harry shut down his romance with Angel just days before the final — and it’s not about Helena - suong

Before he could finish his sentence, Angel jumped in and said: “I completely get what you’re saying, you’ve been with Helena for how long now so it’s something a lot deeper.”

Harry agreed as he continued: “I don’t want to waste your time. When we talk it’s not wasting anyone's time because we get on and the conversation is good.” 

Angel replied: “I think what you two have got is going well.” Harry emphasised: “I don’t want to waste your time because I know there are other guys in here who want to get to know you and I know you’re getting to know Ty.”

 

In turn Harry decided he couldn’t help but keep the conversation flirty as he joked: “If it was week 3 I would have been in trouble.”

He added: “Anyway, I just want to make Helena happy but I still want to spend time with you because I think that you’re funny and we get on.”

Angel said: “We’ll still have chats.” Harry insisted: “And some eye contact.” However Angel insisted: “Keep those eyes away from me.”

Viewers watching at home were quick to claim that Harry only cooled things off with Angel because the final is just around the corner.

 

One viewer took to X, formally known as Twitter, and said: “Harry hasn’t grown up, he just knows the final is near and thinks he is laying the groundwork for him to be in the final #LoveIsland.” 

Another wrote: “Harry basically just said yeah I like you and think you’re fit but if I leave Helena now I won’t win #LoveIsland.”

Meanwhile another fan added: “Harry following his game plan ok #LoveIsland.”
