LOVE Island All Stars has been slammed by a former islander who claims the line-up is 'too old'.
Diamanté Laiva was just 21 when she entered the villa and thinks older stars such as Marcel Somerville, 39, Scott Sinclair, 36, and India Reynolds, 34, are past it.
The reality star fears the older generation of islanders will be too cautious about their careers to spark any drama and won't find "any meaningful relationships".
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, 22-year-old Diamante believes the cut off for applications should be aged 26.
She said: “Personally, I feel like Love Island should be younger.
"I went in there when I was 21, so people could say that’s quite young. But if you take other people’s opinions into consideration, I think it would be best to see probably ages 22 to 26.
"Older people are more careful about their career and what they say.
"It takes out the reality aspect of the show. You’re not giving your raw opinions; you’re worried about your career."
Diamante added: "A lot of these people are influencers, so everything they say is being watched by brands. If brands don’t like them, they won’t get paid.
"It takes out the genuineness and spoils the show.
"When you’ve got young people, you want to see drama on Love Island. That’s what gets people talking. Young people bring that energy.
Diamante found fame in the 11th series of Love Island, which aired last summer.
She made her entrance as a Casa Amor bombshell and found herself growing close to Sean Stone.
Diamante later revealed she had also had secret chats with Joey Essex around the fire pit that weren't aired.
Unfortunately, her time on the show was cut short when Sean decided to stay with Matilda when he returned to the main villa.
As a result, Diamante was left single and had to leave.
From her own experience on Love Island, Diamante fears that none of the older stars will find everlasting love in the villa.
She has branded the lads who go on the show "Ibiza boys" and believes they don't really want to settle down.
Diamante adds: "Past 27 or so, personally, I would want to be seeking marriage if I were still single. Not everyone wants to be married.
"But going on Love Island, where all these boys are 'Ibiza boys' and 'party boys' who like clubbing - it’s just not serious.
"Some of these boys are like, 'I slept with three girls in one night'. You’re not going to find a serious relationship at 28 on Love Island.
"You can find meaningful relationships in the real world."
