I hope he really comes to his senses this time" – Andy Cohen officially speaks out about Jax Taylor's shocking decision to leave The Valley - lulu

After Jax Taylor confirmed his exit from The Valley earlier this week, Andy Cohen has since reacted to the news. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host opened up about Jax leaving The Valley after Season 2 on his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live, on July 17, one day after Jax confirmed his departure.

"Jax announced yesterday that he's gonna be stepping away from The Valley. I'm very pleased with his decision, and I think it is reading the room well. And I think the most important thing is that I hope that he can work on all of his issues. And this comes up at the [upcoming Season 2] reunion," Andy said on his radio show on Thursday. "I have kind of a serious conversation with him about his need for control and his anger issues and what it's gonna take to get to a better place with Brittany [Cartwright] and in the world."

Andy added, "And I hope that he takes the time to lean into this away from the cameras, and he seems very committed from our conversations to his sobriety, and I hope that time away from the cameras will further encourage that and further encourage him to get it together."

What Jax Taylor said at The Valley Season 2 reunion behind-the-scenes

While fans will have to wait for the reunion to air later this season, BravoTV.com did catch up with Jax backstage at The Valley Season 2 reunion filming, and he shared his predictions for the season-ending sit-down with Andy and his castmates.

"How do I feel? I've been down this road, I don't know, 10 times, and I've been pretty much hammered every time, so I have pretty thick skin," he said in the exclusive interview, in which he alluded to his many Vanderpump Rules reunions.

What's next for Jax Taylor?

In his statement, in which he confirms his departure from The Valley, Jax hinted at what's next for him.

“After an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, I’ll be stepping away from the next season of The Valley," he said in a statement on July 18. "Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health, and coparenting. Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself - especially for our son, Cruz.”
