“I got scared enough to call my cardiologist” – Prayers up for Dolores Catania as RHONJ star shares emotional update on terrifying and painful health battle that left her shaken in the middle of the night - suong

Dolores Catania Afib Diagnosis RHONJDolores Catania is reminding all of us to take our health seriously — and to never ignore what your body’s trying to tell you.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star revealed that about six months ago, she experienced a sharp chest pain while driving, followed by a strange fluttering that wouldn’t go away — even waking her from sleep.

At first, she brushed it off. But eventually, the symptoms became too alarming to ignore.

“I got scared enough to call my cardiologist,” Dolores admitted.

After undergoing testing and wearing a heart monitor, she was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation (Afib).

Afib is a condition where the heart beats irregularly and often too quickly, impacting blood flow and increasing the risk of serious complications.

Now nearly six weeks post-procedure, Dolores says she’s feeling like herself again and hopes to eventually come off medication.

“I’m sharing this because I want you to listen to your body,” she said.

“That racing or fluttering in your chest you feel doing simple tasks during the day — that’s your body trying to tell you something.”
