Uche is going to prove to be one of the team's best bargain signings and earn a better contract after aiding another postseason run. These are the types of savvy moves fans have come to expect from a front office that is never satisfied with the status quo.
Even coming off a Super Bowl title, the Eagles are searching for every possible advantage. The veteran pass rusher falls under this and has a chance to make a surprise impact. While Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts, and A.J. Brown understandably commanded most of the media attention, it is the Philly defense that was the biggest factor in the team's Super Bowl run. Whether it was a clutch stop against Matthew Stafford early in the playoffs or terrorizing Patrick Mahomes, the defense continually set the tone.
Uche fits perfectly into this, giving the team needed depth and a chance to turn back the clock for a player who has a chance to be one of the biggest bargains of the 2025 offseason.
