The Salt Lake City hillside estate owned by Angie Katsanevas is regularly featured on the show
“Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Angie Katsanevas is giving one lucky homebuyer the chance to enjoy Bravo-level luxury—without the sordid on-screen drama—after putting her Utah mansion on the market for $4.5 million.
The 50-year-old, who, along with her husband, owns 10 hair salons in the Salt Lake City area, purchased the hillside estate in 2020, shortly after it was built.
If you’ve watched Katsanevas’ scandal-ridden reality series, you’ve likely seen her fellow housewives lounging around in the elegant interior. And there’s certainly an abundance of space to entertain guests.
The kitchens (yes, plural) are uniquely suited to accommodate any gathering. One has Miele appliances, including a separate refrigerator and freezer, a wine refrigerator, and two dishwashers, plus a 16-foot serving island.
Hidden behind that display kitchen is a working kitchen, where caterers and staff can prepare a spread without being seen.
The interiors are highlighted by soaring ceilings and white ash floors. There are walls of glass with views of the valley below and the mountains above.
Inside, there are four bedrooms and 3.5 baths spread across 6,369 square feet of living space.
The Katsanevases, who have been happily married for 25 years, have a 13-year-old equestrian-minded daughter, Elektra, who likely loves her bedroom, which features vast windows, a fireplace, and open shelving.
The spacious primary suite also comes with a fireplace, as well as a sitting area, a double-vanity bath with a view, and dual walk-in closets.
Another primary suite, on the main floor, features two walk-in closets and a luxurious bath.
The lower level (don’t call it a basement!) has a 12-foot ceiling and a family room with a fireplace. There’s also a wet bar with a refrigerator and ice maker, two additional bedrooms, a large bathroom, and 1,000 square feet of storage space.
There’s no telling yet where Katsanevas will wind up after selling her house, but we might get some hints during Season 5 of “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” which premiered on Sept. 18 and has already gotten off to a very dramatic start.
Although nothing will likely beat the Season 4 finale (during which “traitor” Monica Garcia was outed by a triumphant Heather Gay screaming, “Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Screenshots!”), it looks like the upcoming episodes will offer more than their fair share of salaciousness.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Garcia remains public enemy No. 1 as far as the rest of the cast is concerned, with Gay stating at the start of the episode: “When we disappoint each other, we go back to where we started. We remember what connects us—and pray it won’t happen again.”
Eagle-eyed real estate fans will be thrilled to see that the opening episode also involves plenty of footage of the housewives’ superb homes, including—you guessed it—Katsanevas’ listed home.
