'Hard to imagine my life without her': MAFS' Eliot Donovan shares emotional story of how companion Olive came into his life - suong
If there's one thing we've learned about Married At First Sight's Eliot Donovan it's that he loves nothing more than spending time with his favourite girl Olive.
Since the end of the experiment, the groom has shared photos of exactly what he's been up to and most of them are with his adorable dog Olive.
In May 2025, Eliot shared some snaps of him and his pet companion enjoying nature and captioned the photos: "Beach life."
Eliot, 35, has previously opened up about Olive's rescue story and we'll be honest, it's a tear-jerker.
Eliot explained that Olive first came into his life three years ago.
"She was only five weeks old and didn't have a home. She got brought into my work and she imprinted on me like a baby duck, following me around site all day," Eliot began.
"Olive's favourite things are carrots, chasing and being chased.
"We've been on so many adventures together now it's hard to imagine life without her."
Eliot entered Season 12 of MAFS as one of the experiment's most controversial grooms.
He married bride Lauren and despite the pair initially hitting it off on their wedding day Eliot bailed on the marriage just two days into his honeymoon.
At the time Eliot noted they weren't a fitting match and packed his bags and officially left the experiment.
