Hannah Berner is showing some love to husband Des Bishop for a special reason.
On March 17th, the Summer House alum re-shared an Instagram post from 2024 to her Story in honor of Saint Patrick's Day. In the photo, Hannah posed wearing a shirt that declared her love for "Irish boys." Perfectly on theme, the shirt featured a shamrock instead of a heart.
"I'm very biased," Hannah stated in her Instagram Story, referencing her American-Irish husband.
Des also recently opened up about his marriage to Hannah. On a February episode of the You Must Be Jokin' podcast, Des explained how his career has changed due to his relationship. "I get stopped as much now for being Hannah's husband as I do for being Des Bishop," he said. "If they're under 30, I know that they're gonna say, 'I'm a fan of your wife.'"
Des Bishop reveals Hannah Berner's reaction to him working in Ireland
During the same podcast interview, Des, a native New Yorker who moved to Ireland as a teenager, shared how Hannah feels about him often returning to Ireland for long stretches of time.
"I come back [to Ireland] to work," explained the comedian. "Hannah sometimes is like, 'Why are you going back for so long?' I'm like, 'Well, first of all, I gotta do a tour,' but secondly, she forgets sometimes that, like, my whole life is here. This was my life. She's never known that life because I met her during the pandemic, so she's not really that aware of just like this massive existence — since 1990 to the pandemic — of an Irish life. So I like to come back to do shows, but also I like to see everybody."
