Guerdy Abraira Accuses RHOM Cast of “Icing” Her Out, Explains Why She Exposed Julia’s Texts, Reveals Cruise Timeline, and Shares What She Wants to Ask at the Reunion

Fans of The Real Housewives of Miami were treated to good news when it was announced that Bravo had renewed the series for an 8th season. Now, Guerdy Abraira is discussing the current installment of the show, including her issues with Julia Lemigova, the cast’s failure to defend her, and more.

Regarding Guerdy, 47, and Julia, 53, the two began to butt heads over Guerdy not joining the Zoom call where she announced that she and Martina Navratilova, 68, were adopting two boys. However, Guerdy has provided proof that she attempted to join and even reached out to Julia when the link she sent was not working for her.

Guerdy sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight’s Brice Sander to discuss her feelings toward the season and her dynamics with the cast. He got right down to business, asking Guerdy if she was surprised by her beef with Julia. She said, “I think it’s pretty that it caught me off guard.”

She continued, “You have to understand that the cruise happened before [the] season 6 reunion, and there was never a discussion about the cruise. All of a sudden, a year passes by, and we pick up cameras for season 7. Now it’s being presented as I volunteered to be on the same cruise that I just unpacked for, and that I made it all about me, and that I am an opportunist. I wanted to meet celebrities on the cruise where we were the actual celebrities because we were doing Content For Cruising.”

She went on, “So, it was weird and I just couldn’t believe my eyes and I almost felt like I was in The Truman Show. I felt like I was being punked.”

Brice then said that her issues with Julia feel deeply rooted and asked if there is another element to their drama. She essentially says she isn’t privy to why they fell out and that she came into season 7 assuming she’d have support.

From there, he brings up how Julia tossed water onto Guerdy and asked if she noticed anything during that moment when she watched it back that she hadn’t caught when it happened. She said, “There are so many things that I’m now watching live as an audience member. I really feel like it’s an out-of-body experience because of the way the girls were acting toward me throughout the hiatus.”

Guerdy went on, “We were good, but behind my back, there was some plotting and planning and things of that nature. I think Julia thought, ‘let me bring this to the girls,’ and was working an angle for all this time, getting close with them, and they now seeing me through her lenses. That left me completely baffled because this is someone I trusted who was by my bedside through the worst time of my life, and this is what they’re doing to me when the cameras went up.”

She added, “The betrayal level is on another hemisphere, and the fact that none of the girls stood up for me, I just, I was so shell-shocked that I just froze, and I just couldn’t believe what was happening.”

When asked if any of the ladies reached out to apologize after Julia threw the drink in her face, she said no. This was even the case when she went out to lunch with some of them one-on-one.

Brice then brought up how Guerdy exposed Julia’s text messages on the show. About this, she said, “What I did at my party is I said to myself, ‘When, Guerdy, are you going to take crap from people? [There’s this] new version of yourself, and you are now talking about your testimony of how you’ve changed after this really hard life experience. What is the new Guerdy gonna do that the old Guerdy [wouldn’t].”

She continued, “That was my only opportunity because if not then, when? The only time I think I can actually speak uninterrupted, like I was at Marysol’s wedding. If not at my own party on my own terms with my true conviction, then when?”

Brice asked if she still wanted a friendship with Julia, and she stated that she didn’t need one. The interview continued, and Brice asked how it made her feel that the cast once again didn’t support her. She answered, “So, now there’s a pattern because the same people who were at the wedding party were the same people who walked out in unison like a march.”

She then said, “So, that was like telling, right? I just don’t understand how these friendships have developed into icing out, and we’re all going to do this and we’re not going to do that. It’s like seagulls.

Regarding what she wants to ask at the reunion, Guerdy said, “Why go so hard to be negative toward me? Why is the question I have because there is nothing that I think I’ve done to deserve this type and this level of behavior, and to me, it’s very weird. It’s very weird to just do that, and it’s not only to me. They’re doing it to Lisa, they’re doing it to Adriana, so I just want to understand where we are.”

She also called the reception from the ladies “quite cold” after all she’s gone through with her health journey. Brice also asked Guerdy if she felt it was a “premeditated gang up” to ice her out, and she said yes. She also stated that she was on good terms with all the ladies before production on season seven started.

Finally, he asked her about Kiki Barth throwing shade at her on Watch What Happens Live when she questioned her wedding planning business. Guerdy mentioned how she brought Kiki onto the show, but now her title card says “Larsa’s friend.” She also clarified, “Am I still planning weddings? If I want to, but my portfolio is quite expensive, so I have lots of things going on where I don’t need to work every day for a living. Thankfully.”

The Real Housewives of Miami airs on Wednesday nights.
